Are these dudes still playing?

You don't hear much about them anymore now that LeBron isn't carrying their careers to another year.

You guys see us beat the immortal hell out of Cleveland last night? We were beating Cleveland so bad that their miserable fans forgot to boo LeBron.

Why hasn't Antwan, a former TWO-TIME NBA All-Star, producing more for his team? Surely he's good enough to elevate a team like Cleveland, right?

I'll bet Eli Manning could get them to the next level.

Antawn is 36 you know.....hes just out there to collect that paycheck for one more year. And to his credit hes still putting forth the effort long after the athleticism has deserted him.

I think the Cavs fans are happy about where their team is at. At least they're not in NBA purgatory like the vast majority of teams out there.....they found their young star they can root for in Irving and maybe they luck out again in the lotto and pair him with Davis or Drummond. For all the doom and gloom surrounding Cleveland and Toronto after their breakups, they both have to be feeling pretty good about what their teams may look like 2-3 yrs down the road.

Seriously? this is your new crusade? Antwan averaged 18 and 7 last year and this year 17 & 6, not bad for a guy who is 35 years old and Cle is in 3rd place in their div and only 2 games out of a playoff spot in the East. They must be doing something right. Last year Cle had a million injuries and the whole lebron weaseling his way out of town to hop on a championship bandwagon(whicht hey lost b/c of Lebron) thing which hurt that team.

It's obvious what you did here but I'm having fun playing along.

19-63 last season.

Clearly they're doing something right lol.

last year they had a million injuries and the dark cloud of the quitter leaving them to fail w/ Miami. That cloud has been lufted and they are a playoff contender just a year later.

it's funny, your argument for lebron was that he carried bad teams to postseason and couldn't win yet you proclaim Eli elite for barely making postseasons and going on runs w/ some of the most talented teams in the league. Which is it?

Oh ****ing stop lol. Two elite players in the NBA can lead you to a title. One elite player on a football team can't do it. You definitely need a complete team on both sides of the football to win a Super Bowl.

What LeBron did in Cleveland was beyond miracle work. Rich stock investors don't get filthy rich by playing it safe. Those dudes take risks...just like Eli takes big risks. Dude hits it big.

So you're just gonna have to deal with Eli being a two-time Super Bowl winner AND a two-time Super Bowl MVP.

On top of that, you're gonna have to deal with the NBA champion Heat and PROBABLY LeBron winning his third MVP.

Maybe being a Dolphin fan isn't so bad after all.

Eli has had an elite roster to work w/, an elite QB isn't winning 9 games w/ that roster.

if you can win 60 games in the reg season you should be able to win a championship.

I expect Miami to start winning titles soon, once Lebron starts playing like an elite player in June they'll win many titles.

Oh, so now the roster is elite?

Victor Cruz and Mario Manningham are elite receivers? Ahmad Bradshaw is an elite running back?

Ok lol.

Ok lol.

Victor Cruz is the reason they made the playoffs. he carried that offense the last 2 weeks. The 99 yd TD(all him) saved their season, the next week he had another long catch and run and the play that clinched the game was essentially another Eli hail mary where he threw it up for grans into double coverage and Cruz came down w/ it.

Bradshaw is a good back, Manningham is a nice 3r4d option for a WR.

It's not just the offensive talent, they have more pass rushers than they know what to do w/ and their STs won the SF game(along w/ the D).

Hmmm...who did he have that 99 yard touchdown against? Probably bad defense and/or poor tackling. That's usually the case in big plays like that.

It was a combo of a great play by Cruz and poor play by the Jets but either way Cruz amde the play and saved the Giants season in the process.

Antawn had 32 & 10 last night as Cle won and is 1 game out in the L column from a playoff berth.

Only in a thread about the Cleveland Cavaliers would the discussion turn into a branched off version of the one we have going in the depths

junc doesn't think Eli is elite and says the team around him are the reasons for winning the Super Bowls but Antwan Jamison and Carrottop and more than enough to win a title with lol.
