Patriots Coach Bill Belichick celebrates Super Bowl win with passionate father-daughter kiss The intimate lip-locking photographed between Belichick and his adult daughter, Amanda, drew cries of 'making out' and comparisons to actor Woody Allen on Twitter after it was snapped following Sunday night's victory. New York City etiquette expert Elaine Swann says it’s behavior better left at home.

Go ... Pats?
Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick was snapped celebrating his fourth Super Bowl victory Sunday night via a passionate smooch on the lips with his adult daughter, Amanda Belichick.
While the smack now seen ‘round the world has been defended by some online users as a sweet, intimate moment between family, many others have branded it as “super weird,” "aggressive" and “making out.”
It now provokes the question: is there an age parents shouldn’t kiss their son or daughter on the lips?
According to New York City etiquette expert Elaine Swann, it's an age well younger than Belichick's 30-year-old daughter.

“Adult parents should probably not be kissing their adult children on the lips, in public,” she summed it up to the Daily News. “We are judged by the way be behave so we have to be mindful of how we're perceived by others when we're in a public place, no matter what you're celebrating.”

Swann, who confessed that her own Panamanian decent makes her a bit handsy with family, defended that Bill Belichick’s lineage may have influenced his behavior.
“Doing a quick bit of research on Bill here, his grandparents are from Croatia and the culture there, they're very hands-on. Men kiss men. Women kiss women,” she said. "Here in the U.S. it can be seen as taboo; however, we have to remember that America is a melting pot of a ton of different cultures.”
Regardless of that possible explanation, Swann and various Twitter users certainly shunned it for being done in a public arena, with an estimated 114.4 million also watching at home.
"So he's basically Woody Allen but weirder," tweeted Dennis Joseph.

"Not a hug family I guess yeesh," tweeted Matthew Scott.

“This is worse than Pete Carroll's call,” added Laire.
"We kiss all our kin folks like that every morning — West Virginia," Jason Handy joked.
Such passion may have been forewarned by Belichick's own lips, however.
When asked by a reporter how he was going to celebrate the big win with his family, he replied: "We will celebrate it. We will celebrate it hard."
A request for comment from Belichick on the kiss was not immediately returned.
