Boston Left Field On His Own!

If he walked off the field, whether he limped or not, then it is not a rupture. If that tendon ruptures, then the knee will not stabilize itself when weight is put on it, and the knee will buckle.

It was a strain.Suppose they will give him an MRI to see the extent of the damage.

A strain will mean

2-4 weeks off.

The good sign for Boston was that he was able to leave the field and the Texans training facility under his own power, although limping noticeably.

Still, the tendon could be anything from irritated to completely ruptured. The patellar tendon helps stabilize the knee cap and is one of the most serious injuries an athlete can suffer if ruptured.
:(

what else can happen before the season starts...

Those are some WIDELY differing reports.

So which was it??? Did he walk off on his power? Or did he get carted off on a stretcher with his knee heavily wrapped?

Screw camp. Put everyone in lockdown so nothing else can happen.
