Brandon Graham leaning towards Dolphins- per source

Crank up that pass rush. I have no issue with it....AS LONG as Wake remains this year.

I am off this train if Wake is jettisoned for whatever reason.

Doubt it has anything to do with wake this year. More to do with Wake and OV both potentially gone next year.

I'm a big fan...

being a good run defender in a 34 at olb is NOWHERE near the same thing as being a good one at de in a 43...not to mention all the good pass rush looks that philly offense gave the d the last 2 years...

Wake needs to restructure.

He needs to become 2009 Wake . . . a part time 3rd down pass rush specialist. He was on the sidelines in crucial moments way too much last year.

If the Cowboys can jettison Demarcus Ware, who was younger and better than Wake . . . Miami can certainly do the same to to CW. And I like Wake a lot . . . . but it doesn't floor me that the team is looking for DE help.

I cannot help, but look at the savings by trading him. I love the player and I think he is a monster with Suh next to him. However, I am just not sure why the interest in Graham without letting go of Wake.

He set the edge at Michigan extremely well . . . hell I believe he was the top rated run defending DE that year. He can play the run from OLB in a 3-4 or as the DE in a 4-3. You are underestimating him.

This kid was the #13 pick in the draft . . . went ahead of Earl Thomas and Dez Bryant. Hell I thought we were pretty dumb for passing on him in 2010 . . . we were running a 3-4 and needed an OLB opposite of Cam Wake. He was a glove fit.

Truth is, if Miami believe Cam Wake has one year left (like I do when I look at this contract) . . . this could be a real smart move on their part.

He's better than OV when he is right and OV is on his last year also. This isn't as bad as it looks. Go back to the Michigan tape . . . you'll see a hell of a player, one that got hurt early in his career, and finally flashed his ability in 2014 when he was healthy.

He could be really really good next to Suh.

Why would Wake and Vernon be gone next year???

Vernon is out of contract and will want paid, Wake is well not getting any younger but will still be expensive.

Could we pay Odrick, Vernon and Wake? Sure. Suh, Wake and Vernon? I doubt it, especially if Suh gets OV a lot of sacks

Brandon graham will be a better 4-3 de than he was a 3-4 olb. I like the move, if....and only if, it means a permanent move of Jordan to outside linebacker

Oh dear ... this feels like Ellerbe all over again but worse. I hope we don't blow cap like this.

Why would Wake and Vernon be gone next year???

One guy will be a FA (Vernon)

The other guy will be a 34 year old DE making 9.8 million and if cut frees up 8.4 million (Wake).

It's very realistic that they both are gone after the season.

This might mean Jordan or Wake are on the outs?

Probably wont be very popular with Dolfans (myself included), but it wouldnt really surprise me that much if Wake is cut for to his cap savings (7.65m), especially if Graham is signed. Could even gain another 1.5m after June 1st if they designate him that way along with Wheeler.

Honestly, it has to mean that . . . or they got Chip Kelly to give us a 2nd round pick for him.
