Never thought I'd see the day.
That's just plain strange to look at
Easily the GOAT
Lmao what a beast
That's just really weird, yet awesome.
but but but.....our Wr's suck so bad? how can that be?
wait......3...2.....1 here comes the stats dont mean a thing reply

btw, does this mean we are a passing team now? lol
we still dont know our identity? lol
Thats cool. It would be even better if he wins it for the year.
Most people here know that outside Bess and Hartline they do suck. Matthews hasn't played yet though.
that's my boy.
It really doesn't mean anything though, especially in week 4.
proof positive he is inconsistent. lol
It's more shocking because he put those numbers today on Patrick Peterson
He is a legit #2 this offensive scheme is great for him.. but he is not a #1 tho
With a legit #1 WR we will be set. ?, Hartline, Bess (? is the unknown #1) based on this year so far, can be a damn good WR crew.
LMAO... So, the leader of yardage in the league is not a #1 receiver. LMAO.
Only if we drafted some WRs in the draft earlier and made it a priority in the offseason. What could have been...
no no no, sorry, cant let you get away with that. First off, most base offenses have two WR. Those are ours.
Everyone in creation has said OUR WR'S. Not some of our WR's.
If I didnt know better I would swear that was photoshoped.
The WR position is fine then?

Hartline has always been solid and reliable. He's taking the next step now.
Hartline is a good number 1, but if we drafted a receiver in the 1st round and moved Hartline down to the number 2 receiver that would put this receiving core out of the bottom dwelling area. Hartline would be a great number 2, but I do think he's doing good as a number 1.
I mean look at the Cowboys with Dez Bryant and Miles Austin, or the Giants with Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz. More is better.
Wes welker is #5 leading yrds.. is he a #1.. no. Hartline is not a #1 Wr threat
Yup good post.
seems someone is stuck on last year. if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it must be a duck. Hartline is doing everything you want a number 1 WR to do, and he's doing it against legit corners. the only corner he didn't do it against was the best corner in the league.
I thought the same thing! funny He was a #1 for Miami today and pretty good at it
Judging by some of these posts, if the Dolphins were good people would really be arrogant. I mean it's one thing to be positive, but wow...
I like Hartline and he's a good WR, but just because he leads the league in yards doesn't make him a #1 WR. He's just a #1 because our WR core sucks. He better ****ing be one for us.
A #1 to me is like Megatron and Fitzgerald. Hartline is a very good #2 IMO.
Players like them are rare though.
Yah but let's at least wait and see if Hartline reaches a 1000 yards before we label him a #1. A #1 is the guy you build around. He's your franchise WR. He's the guy you rely on when the game comes down to the wire.
No, clearly i have been pouting for matthews. it would be nice if Armstron could pick up this offense but not so much. Not saying we dont need more WR's but actually, I might be looking at a lot of TE's in this coming draft.
Just a note too here we are #9 in the NFL in total Offense.....Cincy is #10
We are 16th is Total Defense. Cincy is 20.
legit corners he was owning william gay lmao
I know he's not a #1, but not many scrubs have a game like he just had, hell, not many studs have a game like that.
But I would like to take this opportunity to point out that Philbin has always said from the begginning what?
That this offense doesnt require a #1 WR. It requires every WR to know the playbook, read the LOS with QB, communicate and know where you need to be. Just saying. People are so hung up about a #1 Megatron or something when thats not what the man will be looking for.
High energy, hard working, ballcatching, smart football players. If we had the ability to clone another Bess and Hartline, you wouldnt need any other WR's. Thats it. done. over. you got guys who get open. catch ball.....run with ball.
Hartline is Jordy Nelson 2.0 not a #1 Wr tho
If that's the case, that still doesn't make a him a #1 then. That means we'll be a team with a ton of #2s and 3s.
and he's gonna laugh all the way to the bank..tanny will continue to look his way..i see 1200 yards but he still doesn't score alot of td's.
So you dont get it?
is that what your saying? then you need to blame philbin then.
This. This franchise has produced great, HOF caliber wideouts, and none of them did what Hartline did today. He deserves credit
And why is everyone so caught up in what ****ing "number" on the depth chart a player is?
I mean seriously, if he's producing, which Hartline is, it shouldn't matter if he's a #1 OR #5?
Everyone is giving him credit. That doesn't mean he's our #1 though. I think he's a really good #2.
well if he was a one or not is immaterial today he was our number one
oh? funny, he's outperformed jordy nelson in all but one game this season, and he has a rookie throwing him the ball.
Imagine if we had a big #1 WR that required double coverage with Hartline and Bess.
We don't, we all get that, but to downplay what Hartline and Bess have done because there not #1s is comical. It shouldn't matter what number they are, if the perform they perform.
A big #1 WR that requires double coverage and doesn't drop passes at an alarming rate. Cause we had the big #1 WR that required double coverage (somewhat) with Brandon Marshall and that didn't work out so well.
Brian Hartline was a steal 4th round anyway
4 games into the season lol
Nobody is downplaying Bess or Hartline. They are our only good WRs.
Not disagreeing with you. Just disagreeing with the terminology. I don't see Hartline as a WR we build around; I see him as a good contributor for us. A #1 is a franchise player.
Are you or have you ever bashed Tannehill so far this season for his lack of TDs and/or his abundance of INTs?
That doesn't mean every #1 WR is going to drop passes. I think we need a red zone target more than anything, which Hartline isn't. Someone like Bowe would do wonders for this offense.
No WR IMO is a franchise player. Never will be, I will never want Miami to pay a WR what Fitz and Megatron just got, stupid amount of money.
---------- Post added at 11:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:09 PM ----------
That's the guy I want tbh. Bowe, Hartline, Bess.
