Noteworthy: Right tackle John St. Clair said his sprained ankle is "not as bad as I thought. The X-rays were negative, so I'll be all right." Damion McIntosh, coming back from off-season ankle surgery, or rookie Vernon Carey would start if St. Clair can't go against the Bengals. "I think I'm ready," Carey said. "I have to be ready.
