Bruce Irvin?

Just saw on ESPN that he most likely will be a cap casualty this year. I know we've tried to sign him in the past before he went to Oakland but got PAID there and now might be willing to take less money. I know in Seattle he was used as a SAM in an Under front and blitzed often, and played DE/OLB in OAK. 15 sacks in 2yrs with Oakland, thoughts?

I like him as a player... But I really want us to be done with paying big bucks to free agents, especially those on the wrong side of 30 like Irvin.

I think he'll command more than we should be paying an over 30 LB. New England is right in our division, all that success in how they work personnel and the Fins still too often raid free agency for band aids. Draft, develop, find bargain UFAs in the second wave of free agency.

I'm not up on all the salary-cap situations around the league, but NYJ, GB, and LAR are the fits that stand out to me.
