Can Cowher be successfull without Dick Lebeau?

Was Lebeau responsible for Cowher's success over the years seeing as how the steelers have continued success after Cowher. Is Cowher just Parcells and Lebeau his Belicheck? I am not to familiar with cowhers past aside from his records but was it due to having a great D coordinator because they were never great on offense.

Pitt had some crappy QB's like us till they got big ben. Hope Bill can steel Lebeau down here to be our DC.

From '92 through '94 LeBeau wasn't the DC in Pittsburgh. He was the defensive backs coach. In those three years Cowher's Steelers won two division championships and went 11-5, 9-7 and 12-4.

So... yes, I think he can.
