Can Frodo Russell be third down back?

I wonder, how much of an impact will he make.

I'm a Hawk fan and know what he can do. He's very fast and elusive, great cut back runner. He's small so durability could be an issue, but the term scat back comes to mind. Great change of pace guy.

Yes Fred can be the 3rd down back. But is brain dead Dave smart enough to use him? We shall see.

I have said before that size is not that important in a RB but I think Russell is too small and fragile and I doubt he will last the season.Having said that I hope he proves me wrong.

fred got 20+ carries through the entire big ten season. the only time he's missed entire games is when he got hit too hard in practice, by bob sanders, the hardest hitting d-back i've ever seen (pro or college).

20+ carries in the big ten, and he's still not 'tough enough'..
