The Canes baseball team had a great regual season. Did not lose any back to back games and only lost 1 three game set.

The Canes are are hosting a Regional at home in Coral Gables.

Canes (44-11) National # 3 seed

Tournament Schedule:
Friday, June 4: Game 1 - Florida Atlantic vs. NC State 3:30 p.m.
Game 2 - St. Bonaventure vs. Miami 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 5: Game 3 - Game 1 Loser vs. Game 2 Loser 12:00 p.m.
Game 4 - Game 1 Winner vs. Game 2 Winner 3:30 p.m.
Game 5 - Game 3 Winner vs. Game 4 Loser 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 6: Game 6 - Game 4 Winner vs. Game 5 Winner 1:00 p.m.
Game 7 - 45 minutes following (if necessary)



The not so good news is that NC ST is in our regional.
NC ST beat us last year in the Super Regional. Also, NC ST was the only team to beat the Canes in a 3 game set, taking 2.:eek:

UNC took 2 out of 3 at Mark Light Stadium on May 14th, and May 16th. N.C. State hasn't played Miami at all this year.

South Carolina and LSU are both looking real good at the right time and Rice still has those monster pitchers that won them the national championship.

Remember FSU was #1 in the nation both last year and the year before and they lost in super regionals both times. Now they're ranked like 22 and they win the ACC. We'll see.

I got the Tar Heels confussed with the Wolf Pac.
My bad.

We lost to the Tar heels this year. We played the Wolf Pac last year and beat them.
 
Florida (43-20) at Miami (47-11)

Starts Saturday, June 12, at 1 p.m. at Mark Light Field ...Can't wait to beat the gators AGAIN!

The second game is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Sunday June 13
with game three slated for 1 p.m. on Monday, June 14

sat. and sun. games of the super regional will be televised on ESPN.
 
Some interesting facts...
Canes did beat UF at the start of the season 2 out 3.
Miami leads the all-time series with florida 113-85-1
postseason 10-3

This is the first Super Regional matchup between Miami and florida
