Can't see own Sig/Avatar?

This is probably a really dumb question, so I apologize in advance. I've used many forums before and never had an issue like this.

I recently became VIP, and when I did, I uploaded a signature picture and avatar. However, when I post, I don't see them on my post in the thread.

Am I missing something? I believe both are within the size limits, and I can see them when viewing my profile. Is that by design, to not see your own signature/avatar in discussions? Or is there a setting I'm missing?

How exactly are you getting the picture onto FinHeaven? Are you loading it directly to the site or are you using an external link from an image hosting like like Photobucket?

From what I was told you were changing your profile picture and not your avatar, which you seem to have figured out. As for the sig I am not sure why that isn't showing up. I will ask again.
