Poor jet fans they are going to hate spamorono.

It's an honor to have new fans, brand new posters quoting me. Did you know only NE, Ind, pit and Bal have more playoff apps in the AFC since 2001?

2001-2011:
playoff apps, playoff wins:

NE: 9 playoff apps, 16 playoff wins
Pit: 8 playoff apps, 12 playoff wins
Ind: 8 playoff wins, 9 playoff wins
Bal: 7 playoff apps, 6 playoff wins
NYJ: 6 playoff apps, 6 playoff wins
SD: 5 playoff apps, 3 playoff wins
Ten: 4 playoff apps, 2 playoff wins
Den: 4 playoff apps, 2 playoff wins
KC: 3 playoff apps, zero playoff wins
Cin: 3 playoff apps, zero playoff wins
Jax: 2 playoff apps, 1 playoff win
Mia: 2 playoff apps, zero playoff wins
Oak: 1 playoff app, 2 playoff wins
Hou: 1 playoff app, 1 playoff win
Cle: 1 playoff app, zero playoff wins
Buf: zero playoff apps

so the Jets are 5th in playoff apps out of 16 teams and 4th in playoff wins out of 16 teams. In 11 seasons only 3 losing seasons(7 of 11 over. 500), that's not winning?

Still chasing the ultimate goal but they have been one of the better teams in the AFC for over a decade.

Still 5th in playoff apps which means more than win %, we had a few years derailed w/ Chad Pennington injuries('03, '05, '07) that skewed the win % in the decade but 5th in playoff apps and playoff wins from 2000-2011 so that's one of the top AFC teams during that span, right?

5th best team in the conference that hasn't won in 42 years yet is behind New England, Indy, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh who have a combined 7 Super Bowl wins in the same time period.

Keep up the good work.

Yep Bal and Indy w/ their 1 win each are so far out in front of us we can't see them. and what does 42 years have to do w/ anything when we are discussing 2000/2001 to current? Are you feeling ok lately? danny Green and the Spurs should have you in a good mood.

The 42 year comment is a fact. You know, those things you use to inflate your ego about how awesome your team is. I wish we'd talk NBA b/c you'd have zip to say in comparison to my team

fixed it for ya to conform with reality.

just remind them that they are somewhere aroud 40 years themselves......with about the last 12 years sans a play-off win. you can also remind them that their last trip to the play-offs was just about as pathetic as the time they lost to the jags 62-7.

All true. Anyone with a right mind already knows this information. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. It's only reasonable to talk **** if your team has had more limited success? Okay

2nd place is always the first loser.

Probably less embarrassing than any Jets season during the Coslet and Kotite administrations, though.
