His misses have led to 4 losses this season. It isn't all his fault but he has not helped at all... he is starting to remind me of Olindo Mare's late carreer here in Miami.

Agree...should have been let go after the second loss he caused us.

I thnk Sparano was his fist pumping MOJO...when his MOJO left for NY so did his kicking ability.

absolutely agree...in today's nfl not having a kicker who can consistently make it from 52 yards and in is a liability (and for those who say that's demanding too much obviously don't watch other kickers around the league)

 Love reading that every single time he blows it. At what point to you think, "hey, maybe he won't be fine because he sucks?"

Its time to get a different kicker..he is a big reason we have been losing games...You cant expect him to make all the kicks but come on..To me the dude is shook...

I started to sour on Carpenter after he missed four field goals in the game against the Bills in 2010. He used to be automatic, now I cringe every time they send him on the field. For the most part I now just expect him to miss it. He can't make anything over 50 yards and that sucks.

Gee, Carpenter, the offensive offensive line who can't protect, or open running lanes, Nolan Carrol, running backs who can't get a ****ing yard, receivers fumbling balls and taking stupid penalties.

Liability? Sure, we got a lot of em.

Agree. He isn't the only reason we lose games, we got lots of reasons, but he sure ain't helping us win any!

If he isn't giving the team the best chance to win, time for him and his super mullet to go.

Ive always been down on this guy since he became our kicker. I'm sure many have forgetten, but before the NFL changed the kickoff sport, Carpenter rarely could kick it into the endzone on a kickoff. People point to his high accuracy percentage, but I'll point out his kicks were short and easy. We absolutely need to bring in competition for this guy immediately. We dont need to wait until the offseason to bring in a kicker to put pressure on this guy. Philbin needs to send a message to him now.

Definitely needs strong competition in camp next year, maybe that will light a flame under him.

Carp needs to be replaced next year. Not competition, he simply needs to be outright replaced.

I won't miss him. Not one bit.

I feel the same. I knew he was gonna shank that kick last night. I think he's gone at the end of the year.

Couldn't agree more, I knew he would miss the 42 yarder. He's awful these days, no confidence.

Carpenter is gone. Probably the worst kicker in the NFL right now.

He's out of here at the end of the season. At this point a rookie UDF could do no worse at a fraction of the price.
