look noboddy likes losing but we have hit bottom but it will get so much better but it is going to take time. every other teams fans seem to understand this ; you have to do better then 8-8 or 10-6 to reach the playoffs in the afc and to get to the super bowl teams must get the most talented players posible. in order to do this we must draft lower from 1- 14 depending on talent availability.
we did not get better when we went 8-8 or 10-6 we got worse because we were in bad draft position . plus we had idiot coaches and idiot gm that couldnt find their way out of abox of crackerjax .

the bottom line is , we need pick in the 3-14 range to get the playmakers but there is also nothing wrong with using f/a just dont over spend and overdepend on the vets.
we will get to the superbowl and good time will return but guy, dont give up on the team.

the thing is our defense has been super bowl caliber since forever and we need to try to win now for jt/zt.

we should have rebuilt in 2005, but now is too late. we need to win now or jt/zt will forever have the stigma that marino has of never winning a super bowl.

It's not really rocket science.

The guys who are being let go simply haven't done what it takes to get us there, CONSISTENTLY, or they're too old and on the decline, or both. So we let them go and, if possible, get draft picks for them (although that will be rare).

We'll replace them with reasonably priced free agents who are upgrades insofar as is possible, but we won't break the bank.

To the extent that we can't address our needs through free agency or the draft, we'll simply coach up and play the young guys, and let the chips fall where they may.

I like it.
