Dolphins Bucs Postponed until Week 11

Good. Now the team and families can focus on what's important.

Sucks from a football standpoint, but we'll figure it out.

I know there wasn't many options but from a football standpoint this is terrible for us. Bye week was right before playing NE twice in 3 weeks. Also on a short week after a Monday nighter.

Sucks, but on the bright side at least the people who had tickets for game 1 should have tickets for this game. If we played at a neutral site then they would be looking at a refund instead. They might be inconvenienced, but at least they didn't get totally screwed.

P.S. In the scheme of things at least our players, coaches, staff, etc. get to be with their families while we sort through what Irma will do. Hopefully, she continues her bend to the right and out of harms way where we won't get the brunt of those 170 MPH winds. Feel bad for those in the Caribbean right now. We are going to really have to help them folks out.

Obviously not complaining about the safety of people that will be effected by the hurricane, but they could have played at a neutral site. The NFL can't say "safety of the players" making two teams play 16 straight weeks.

Again, life is more important than football but they could have played on sunday elsewhere. And don't tell me they couldnt help relocate the players families either....which btw would be a good thing to not be in the middle of Irma.

Need to treat the game @ New England as a de facto bye and sit the starters. That's virtually a guaranteed loss anyway (Brady undefeated at home vs. Miami IIRC) and 16 games without a bye is just brutal. Borders on inhumane, quite frankly.

let's be honest here. how likely was a win at Foxboro gonna be even with the bye-week?

it obviously sucks having to play 16 straight weeks, but that's about it. 26 different teams will be playing on Monday night this season and odds are not all of them will be having a bye week after that.

Complications arose from getting everyone back into the state if there was mass destruction.

Similar situation for UM as the AD desrcibed here.

Disadvantage . . . Yes. But it really has been overblown the impact this will have.

Was absolutely UNFAIR to season ticket holders and homebase fans to play this at a neutral site with the London game also on the schedule. Shocked people are brushing that off like it is no big deal.

They either should of played it early (Wednesday or Thursday) or bye week. State of emergency declared early by the governor made the first option pretty impossible so this was the best outcome IMO (outside of praying this massive storm completely misses the state)
