Seems odd timing the day before the draft

why is it "odd"?

biz still goes on with the club. the egg heads, bean counters and most of the execs are not at the draft or have any part in it.

clements had no place in the draft. its coincidence and nothing else. a bean counter being hired 10 weeks before or 10 weeks after the draft makes no difference.

The common denominator of the execs Ross has recently been hiring is impeccable business credentials in their functional disciplines - rather than tired, recycled football-experienced slugs with fancy or exhalted titles within their narrow spheres. I applaud Steve's effort to restructure the organization to be run by "best of breed" professionals.

I always hope we hire the owner of a wrecking ball company.

I'll settle for implosion specialist who is behind in his annual quota.
