Vollmer has played 4 seasons and in that time has missed 13 games due to injury. that's almost an entire season. He has chronic back issues that cause him to miss playing time. there is a reason the Pats are not interested in him. Winston on the other hand is every bit as good and hasn't missed a single game in 6 years. That's who we should be considering.

I share your concerns. No matter who is signed a RT probably will still be drafted at some point.
