One of the few times I agree with the reporters at the Sentinel. This has been a reoccurring theme for the last 15yrs.
The big theme for the Dolphins earlier this season was having all three units – offense, defense and special teams – complement each other.

It's Week 13, and it still hasn't happened consistently. The Dolphins (6-5) keep springing leaks, and if they don't plug them there's a good chance they'll miss the playoffs for the sixth consecutive year.
Last week's 39-36 loss at Denver was a perfect example of the problem.

Special teams rarely plays well. The return units, punt and kickoffs, give up way too many yards...Fields has struggled this year punting the ball and Sturgis...well, he's Sturgis. Only game Special teams played well was San Diego.

Very true and its unfortunate. The Offense for the most part was rocking during the Denver game. We easily win if they manage 3 stops the entire game. If i recall correctly Denver only punted once.
