Can anyone explain?
Because he is terrible and brings a circus. There.
I don't think an explaniation is needed. Tebow should be no where near a Dolphin uniform
Haha troll face.
They wanted to sign a quarterback, which Tim the toilet bowl Tebow is not.
Congratulations, original poster. You just became "that guy". I think some head hunters on this board have been looking for someone to step up and volunteer to be "that guy" on the Tebow issue. Their claws are sharpened, lol.
Are you serious?
Really? I think most are too harsh on Tebow but he at BEST would be competing for the #3 spot and by most accounts is not a good practice QB. He just doesn't fit here. I hope somewhere else - but far from here!
out of how many stars???

Can you negative star a thread?
If Tebow were a 4th string QB on any team you would hear every week "yeah but what about Tim Tebow" Only the teams with the established set in stone QB would maybe not hear that. But honestly does anyone see Green Bay waste a valuable roster spot on a player that isn't going to help their team? Who cares about selling a couple jerseys to the Tebowites. Tim Tebow needs to learn to throw the football and he needs to do so in AFL or CFL but CFL doesn't want him just like the NFL doesn't want him. Maybe he can play for Orlando's arena team. That is really his only option as a QB.
tebow sucks, that's why.
Tebow should go to Canada and play for a couple of years. As a guy with no real position in the NFL, his first step is to either become a complete QB or find is role.
The team in Canada that "owns his rights" doesn't want him. I heard about it on NFL radio after he was cut by NYJ. That's why in my long *** post I said his only option is arena. It really is. That or just go away. He made his money and he can make even more doing non football related work. He needs to realize he is not an NFL QB at this time (if ever but I'm being fair and leaving it open) and he is more of a "story" then anything. If he realizes this he can make more money at that than being some teams practice squad arm.
Now I defended Tebow's Christianity in another thread today but I don't want him anywhere near Pouncey's butt. He was a great college QB whose game does not translate at all to the pros. Add in the circus and that is a...Negative Ghost Rider, the Backfield is Full!
I am ashamed to see my Alma Mater represented in your name.
Without getting into judging your post, Miami is looking for a QB to fill in during camp. The reason for this is to give the other 3 QB's a break by giving them less throws. The guy you mentioned (I will not utter his name here) doesn't throw well enough. From the coaches point of view they would want someone who throws similarly to the starter. That way the ball the same coming in to the receivers. The guy I can't mention happens to be left-handed. Our 3 quarterbacks are all right-handed.
To start with, Corp can throw a football and hit something. Second, he won't bring all the media BS with him. And that's pretty much all I need from a #4 training camp arm.
Tebow is his own worst enemy. His refusal to be open minded about position, and terrible QB skill set, is what's keeping him off a roster. If he just said "you know, I'll be happy to play any position the team wants" he'd probably get signed in a week.
Tebow sucks... But he did beat us, which kinda sucks ever harder! onder:
That being said, we don't need him here. He's nothing but a distraction. He want players here. We want winners here. We don't want Tebow in Miami. We wouldn't even beat Matt Moore for #2!
Not fair to bring Tebow in as a camp arm. He would expect to make the team. He would not, but his fan base would demand it. Circus ahoy. Why would we want our WRs to become used to sucky throwing while they could be building timing with people who can throw well?
Tebow demanding to be a quarterback in the NFL is a sin of pride. He needs to humble himself. Now, if he had his agent say he's looking for a job as a special teams player and we'll see where a team can use him after that, he would get a roster spot. Remember Jim "Crash" Jensen?
Yes, Tebow blows.
Among all of our awesome moves this offseason, staying away from Tebow is #1 on that list lol.
You aren't a dolphins fan.
IX to the NAY, if nothing more than for the inevitable infestation of the itinerant Tebots who'd be here eagerly eyeing every Tannehill miscue as an excuse to argue for a Timmy start. If you remember what I labeled "The 808 Pennyslurpers" who arrived and left with him- these nuisances would prove to be exponentially all the more tedious
To answer your question, Corp was brought in as an extra arm in training camp only. He's not competing for a roster spot, his best bet is to look good enough that somebody offers him a practice squad job. For one Tebow can't be placed on the practice squad and even if he could I doubt he would except that role.
Tim Tebow could post a fart on YouTube and it'd garner 10,000,000 views and a reality show.
Point is: He could make a run at Joel Osteen's market and be some crazy rich evangelist. Tim Tebow will do just fine in his career without being a Miami Dolphin.
Tebow would be a good fit for the Jets Im surprised they are not looking at signing him :tubes:
Tebow as a training camp arm?? Or if he beat out Devlin??
That would be awful for this team, especially with a young QB still trying to establish himself.
Major Props to Ireland for not signing Tebow
Phins cant sign Tebow cause he has a winning record with a playoff win and dont want to spoil their 4 years of losing and currently have a streak of 13 years without a playoff win.
Phins hate a winner.
For someone who is among the best character, most positive and decent guys in the NFL, it is kind of ironic that no team wants to touch him with a 10 foot pole. But for other players with major substance abuse, violence, sexual assault and poor character episodes, a blind eye is often turned by the GMs. The evangelical christian faithful were very successful in heavily promoting Tebow to a broader audience as a good looking, well spoken, muscular, virginal born-again celebrity. However, the extent of the infatuation (and a minor little detail of being a below average passer) has now made him something of a toxic substance.
The old adage was that any publicity is good publicity. Post Tim Tebow an asterisk * is needed with a warning that good looking, well spoken, muscular, virginal born again attributes can induce toxic circus celebrity mania.
There are 32 GMs in the NFL, and none of them are interested. I guess they all hate winning too. The Jags not wanting Tebow should tell you all you need to know about his QB skills. Tebow's a hometown hero there, they have no QB, and they could use some ticket sale help, yet they want nothing to do with him.
Surprisingly the dude is a bigger circus than Chad Johnson. It will be even worse playing half our games in Florida. I kind of feel bad for the guy because no matter where he plays that circus will follow him. He isn't good to start, but there is a vocal minority who push him to the front the minute a starting QB starts to struggle.
Is this thread serious? Can anyone explain?
If you need an explanation for this, you don't deserve one... Common sense

You must not know what it is like to be a winner because this post is a huge loser

So putting Tebow as a 3rd string QB would help us win??
