McKinnie hasn't been very good this year either. Still prefer him over Clabo. Might see Martin move back over to RT and McKinnie at LT.

    Extremely uninspiring.

If we were going to do something like this, why in the hell didnt we do it 2 weeks ago?

Now dump colombo or clabo or whatever his name is. We can replace him with a tackling dummy.

**** John Martin, McKinnie to LT and Garner to RT. Clabo cut and Martin moved to backup were he belongs.

This is hilarious. We could have had McKinnie for free in the offseason. Now give up a pick for him when he isn't even performing much better.

Garner must be atrocious in practice.

This is a serious failure on Ireland's part. Just awful. Rolled he dice on the wrong guy, then trade for the other wrong guy. The only thing worse would have been trading for jake long, lol.

    The coaches also get blame.

But hey, at least they are trying something!

By the way, if you want to get McKinnie's opinion about this just hit up a random Miami nightclub tomorrow. He'll get there eventually.

FYI, Bryant McKinnie is the 65th tackle in the league, according to @pff. Tyson Clabo is 66th.

If we gave up anything more than a 7th rounder in the year 2027 I'm gonna be pissed. Bad player at worse timing.

What? Why? Isn't o-line an area where chemistry and talent are equally important? I mean, you cant just grab a guy and plug him in somewhere and expect him to be on par, am i right? Sorry but this wreaks of death convulsions to me. Be nice if i were wrong.

If we gave up more than a 6th round pick for "Party hard McKinnie" then Jeff Ireland should be fired immediately.

What a circus. I'm almost more pissed about this trade, than the Clabo thing. McKinnie sucks so much that the ravens traded for a guy mid season to replace him, and now we trade for the guy who was replaced!

    A dog chasing its tail!

The timing, the player, the situation... All awful! Just wait til we see the compensation!

If this doesn't pan out, gut the team. This was a systemic failure of the highest order.

Just as you thought Ireland could not get any dumber, this is his solution? I will upgrade from the 66th rated tackle in the league to the 65th and give up something for it.

So Clabo is so bad that we traded for McKinnie who is so bad that the Ravens traded for another OT and made McKinnie inactive the last 2 weeks? Brilliant!

McKinnie rated as the 65th best tackle, Clabo the 66th. So we really upgraded. LMAO!!!! What a joke

Slight upgrade in the pass blocking area. McKinnie has been a terrible run blocker thus far.
I suspect it's a conditional pick based on playing time. I wouldn't expect it to be more than a couple of late round picks (6th/7th).

Is our backup RT a paraplegic or something??? How can he be so bad that not only is he not an improvement over Clabo, but it warrants trading for an equally washed up RT to fix the problem?

Ireland probably traded Mike Pouncey, Mike Wallace and Brent Grimes along with a 2nd round pick for McKinnie.

McKinnie was done two years ago. The guy is lazy, parties all day and just doesn't take care of his body. The Ravens started playing him late last year (after having spent most of the year on the bench) to make a run, partly at the urging of Ed Reed, who was a teammate of McKinnie's at the U. Somehow he managed to put together a very nice stretch run through the end of the year and the playoffs and the Ravens foolishly expected him to come into this year motivated.

Didn't happen. He was back to being done. And now here we come, with 2/3rds of the season left to go, expecting him to care. Unless he's a superfan who's always dreamed of playing for the Dolphins I wouldn't count on it. The guy is a big, immobile piece of slab bacon, totally unsuited to a zone blocking scheme.

Unless I'm mistaken he's never been an RT so I think this kicks Jonathan Martin over to the right side.

The Dolphins are a mess. This move stinks of desperation. We trade for a guy who cant even make the gameday roster. What have any of the people in charge of the dolphins ever done to make the fanbase have confidence in the decisions they make? Nothing. Anyone who believes in these people are doing so based on blind faith. I for one have no faith in them and will not believe they have what it takes to make this team a winner until we have won.

So Ravens trade for Monroe to Replace McKinnie, then you all trade for the guy that was replaced and give them picks back. nice win for Ravens there.
