He has started the last two games at OG for the Pats and 6 out of 11 this year. He has actually been doing very well.

I remember there was a controversy about why he was cut.

He said that he was cut because Sparano said they wanted versatile
lineman and he only played guard.

Not sure either, but I always did regret getting rid of him, at the very least seemed he could have been good depth for us. I'm not sure how you go from being good enough to start to not being even worth 3rd string on a team consistently thin at guard

If that's true jimmy just another reason I'm glad Sparano's gone. A late round draft pick already good enough to come in and play, I'd take that over all the Pat mquirsrtan's and Marc colombo's of the world that he preferred.

He was cut because he always got stood up by defenders with better leverage. That means he's either a lousy player and the coaching in Boston is phenominal, or that he's decent but the coaching in Miami was awful.

The Pats OL is injured so Thomas has seen plenty of playing time. Starks and Soliai will feast on him Sunday.

Thomas is about to get crushed. He had no technique....he played his first down of football like 3 years before he came to Miami. He is playing for a desperate Pats OL who lost 2 starting guards to injuries.

Had Donald Thomas stayed he'd no longer be a fit for this offense anyway. He didn't do that well in Detroit either.

I'm more pissed that we have Kept Jerry than why we cut Thomas. I thought Thomas had potential but he has been a backup for a reason. We should each his lunch this Sunday!!!

Could have been a very good player for us...too bad he broke his leg his rookie year...could have been a player for us..I am sure the tri-idiots rushed him back before he was ready...didnt like his attitude and walked away from him...

Dude had amazing talent coming out of the draft...could have gone a few rounds earlier than the 6th.

What a total **** up our former Meatball Parmigiana was and is. Forget about coaching an entire team or now an offensive unit, that nimrod couldn't even coordinate or develop the OL, his alleged specialty. Tony could **** up a wet dream!
