is it possible we could pick all 3? Eifert will be there at #12 and could even be there if we traded back to 14-20 range. I think Lacy will go anywhere to 25-45 range. I don't think Swope would get out of the 2nd round. Eifert and Lacy would improve our red zone offense so much, and Swope would be a security blanket for Tannehill. I guess to make this happen we would have to trade back for Eifert, trade into the end of 1st or early 2nd for Lacy, and take Swope with #54 or trade back into the 2nd to draft him if we trade that pick. Our offense would be set if we would just sign Eric Winston or Tyson Clabo

I wouldn't mind it if we could pull that off.

Can we get some defense up in here? So many FH mocks/threads these days are just straight offense.

    You could still get defense.

    Sign Winston

    1st-Eifert TE
    2nd-Lacy RB
    2nd-Alford CB
    3rd-Ryan CB
    3rd-Swope WR
    4th-Jenkins DE
    5th-Smith DE
    5th-Dawkins DT
    7th-Hopkins K
    7th-BPA
    7th-BPA

    That would freaking amazing

    could also do
trade back to #18 for Eifert
trade up to late 20's for Lacy
trade #54 pick for browns de jabaal sheard (110 tackles, 15.5 sacks 6 FF in 2 years)
trade up somewhere in rounds 2-3 for Swope
and sign Eric Winston or Tyson Clabo and Charles Woodson.. I think Woodson and Grimes would be a really good combo, especially if we play a lot of zone

---------- Post added at 01:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:22 AM ----------

if we could walk away with
    TE Tyler Eifert Notre Dame
    RB Eddie Lacy Alabama
DE Jabaal Sheard (Cleveland Browns 3rd year player they are looking to trade)
    WR Ryan Swope Texas A&N
    K Caleb Sturgis Florida

    ^^^ I would be ecstatic

No need to trade up for Swope. He should be there for 3B if not then Bailey will

I like your idea. I would trade back to 18 and grab a extra second. Draft Eifert
Then trade 2 seconds to move up for Lacy

I think we can get sheard for a third.

So my draft would look like-

    1st-Eifert TE
    1st-Lacy
    2nd-Alford
    3rd-(Traded for Sheard)
    3rd-Swope
    4th-Best Guard Available
    5th-Smith DE
    5th-Dawkins DT
    7th-Hopkins K
    7th-BPA
    7th-BPA

Sign Woodson and Winston or Clabo

    Offense-

    LT-Martin
    LG-Incognito
    C-Pouncey
    RG-Lewis or Jerry
    RT-Clabo or Winston
    TE-Eifert and Keller
    RB-Miller/Lacy/Thomas
    FB-Lane/Clay
    QB-Tannehill/Moore/Devlin
    WR-Wallace/Hartline/Bess/Gibson/Swope/Binns

    Scary offense!

    Defense-

    DE-Wake/Vernon
    DT-Starks/Odrick/Dawkins
    DT-Soliai/Randall/Dawkins
    DE-Sheard/Smith
    OLB-Misi
    ILB-Ellerbe
    OLB-Wheeler
    FS-Clemons
    SS-Jones
    CB-Grimes/Woodson/Marshall/Alford/Patterson

    Special teams- K-Hopkins, P-Fields

That team can seriously do something special

That would be bad. All the real D-line talent is between rounds 1-3. You have us a taking a receiver (we don't need a receiver for the 80th time lol) and a rb when the class is pretty deep and we could get a guy of same value in the 5-7th round. Eifert is ok, but only if we can trade down into a 20 something spot.

We'll go D-line way before that pick.

And where is your O-line picks at? We need at least 2 of them in this draft.

Oh and too many early corners. We have Grimes, Marshall and Patterson all on 5 mill deals.

Ehh pass on Lacy. He's so overrated. The guy played behind an o-line that could probably contend in the NFL. I wouldn't touch him with a second rounder.

There's practically zero chance that Jeff Ireland will take 3 offensive skill position players in the first three rounds of the draft. Not with our current near and long term needs at offensive line (both OT and OG), cornerback, and defensive line.

As much as I like those players, Miami has to come out of this draft with a quality corner and a pass rusher opposite Wake. I think that should be the focus early in the draft.

I don't have a problem with that, but I'd like to add Woodson and Abraham if that's the case. I still want Rhodes or Trufant first, but that squad you put out there is nice. Meets

We dont really need O-Line if we sign winston. Louis was signed for OG depth so theres that. As for D-Line Jenkins, Smith, and Dawkins are all great picks. Jenkins and Smith are complete monsters and know how to get to the QB but obviously has been injured which lowered their stock. Ireland already showed he is not afraid to take someone who has been injured. Both can be complete steals of the draft if they come back healthy. I'll throw some stats out for you...

    Brandon Jenkins-
    2010- 21.5 TFL, 13.5 Sacks, 2 FF
    2011- 12 TFL, 8 Sacks

    Quanterus Smith-
    2010- 10 TFL, 4 Sacks, 1 FF
    2011- 11 TFL, 7.5 Sacks
    2012- 18.5 TFL, 12.5 Sacks, 3 FF

As for the Dawkins pick, D-Tackles can be pretty much found all through the draft.

This is a pass first league. Can never have too many corners

Exactly this team has one good corner and he is coming off of a major injury. Patterson and Marshal are average at best plus both are overpaid. At least one if not both of those guys will be gone or will take a pay cut. Wouldn't surprise me at all if two CBs are taken in the first 4 rounds.

Also people who keep saying that we don't need any more receivers must like having an average offense. Must not watch the rest of the league. Wallace and ,too an extent, Keller are the only proven playmakers we have on offense right now. Hartline, Bess, and Gibson are not scaring any defenses. We need more playmakers and that includes the receiver position. I am surprised that there are so many people that are not seeing this.

Grimes is coming off a major injury, Marshall is average at best and is coming off a back injury. If he's one of your starting corners then your defense is in trouble. Patterson's nickname will be toast if he starts any games this year. Surprised that he is still on the team especially with the amount of money he is making.

For the 1000th time we do need at least one more explosive receiver. We have Wallace and three guys who don't scare anyone. You need more than one guy who is a scoring threat.
