Elvis totaled 42 tackles and 17 sacks this year under Mike Nolan.

Listed at 5-11 and 248 pounds, he isan't a huge linebacker in the mold of guys Parcells loves, but the former DE turned LB can generate a serious pass rush and won't kill you in coverage, although he's obviously best rushing the passer.

He is a free agent, and just totaled 17 sacks for Mike Nolan.

Also, he was born, raised, and played his high school ball at Miami Jackson.

As we truly need a pass rushing playmaker to most likely add to Taylor and to replace Porter (or insert any of Miami's average LB's here) ---

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports and Pro Football Insider have both recently Tweeted about these connections, and this seems like an obvious fit to me, and I would live to see him playing in Miami next season!

My realistic dream defense would be:

V. Wilfork
C. Wake
E. Dumervil
K. Dansby
K. Langford
R. Starks
R. McClain
S. Smith
V. Davis
C. Clemons
Y. Bell
W. Allen

Thanks. It's only been 3 days since the last Dumerville thread. We're not giving up the 12th overall pick for Dumerville, especially when Brandon Graham can be had there, and he's much better against the run than Dumerville is (who isn't?). Not going to happen. If Nolan can turn Dumerville loose like that, I'd take my chances on him doing something similar with Wake.
