Just heard on @560WQAM that Dan Carpenter signs with Cardinals to compete with Jay Feely. Ex-Dolphins worlds colliding

May the best ex-dolphin kicker win, LOL...

Good...I hope Dan wins the job. Feely is kind of an A-hole who thinks he always speaks for his entire team.

Carpenter will win the job with this power-leg, then miss crushing FGs that will doom AZ's season. LoL AZ. (your state sucks and your govt is evil [though so is FLA's]).

Good luck Dan. Thanks for some very good years, but the end was near after missing big kicks last season.

wish carp the best. he missed a couple of kicks but he was still our kicker. I always liked the guy and hope for him the best. even if not for the couple missed kicks im sure we still looked to replace him cheaper this season anyways

If feeley makes a decent dollar then they will go with Carp. Many kicker battles have nothing to do with one kicker doing better than another .
Carpenter didn't take the job from Feeley here, Feeley's mouth hurt him here and Carpenter made rookie money. BAsed on talent its a close call.
Feeley played at a pro bowl level last year hitting 25 of 28 kicks with one of 61 yards,

It's safe to say Feeley won't be adding Carpenter to his Christmas card list if he beats him out for a job a second time.

It would suck for feeley because both years he had dominant years kicking and would be cast aside. His season in Miami was one of the best in our history

Meh, that's the business of the NFL....especially for kickers. It's almost always never a stable job unless you're someone like Janikowski. Hell even Vinatieri couldn't keep a job in New England even after winning the Pats three Super Bowls. Feely will find a job with someone else.
