Farve to Retire?

Donald Driver on nfl radio said he was talking to Brett and Brett told him he was planning on retiring. That is what started the retirement rumors!


Didn't hear it myself, just thought I would pass it along. I think it's crap, Farve still wants to play.

I kind of hope he does because then I feel we GB would want to move up to the #2 spot and take Alex Smith or Aaron Rodgers as their next franchise back. They would probably have to overpay, seeing as they'd be desperate for a QB.

I'm pretty sure Farve plays another season. If he retires next year and Brees plays well in SD, trade for Phillip Rivers.

I can't see Favre leaving the packers out on a limb. I bet he goes one more year and then retires.

Favre will be back. I can't see him not telling the Packers the news before free agency started knowing that the top QB's on the market won't be on the market for long!
