We are still $3 million over. We still have some moves we can make with the biggest being trading Surtain which will save us about $5.5 million.
You are forgetting the reports that Chambers has or will restructure his bonus by 3/01. That makes it $1.656 million under.
The Dolphins will have to give qualified offers to their RFAs by 3/01 but even if they do they are now cap compliant and can think about the other moves they want to make.
Rushing to trade Surtain will not nescessarily get the best terms. But if Saban has his eye on a FA then they may rush the trade. We will finally get to see what is important to Saban.
