The draft is almost here!!!!

This is my last mock and I am gonna go ahead and add trades because I believe we will be very active day 1...


I believe we still trade pick 54 to the Chiefs for Albert.


Then we will most likely trade back to the Cowboys pick up a 3rd and 5th


Then trade pick 42 and 77 to move up into late first.


We would then have
2 First Round Picks (18 and somewhere 25-30)
2 Third Round Picks (80 and 82)
1 Fourth Round Pick (111)
3 Fifth Round Picks (146,151 and 166)
3 Seventh Round Picks (217,224, and 250)

Love it!!! Switch sturgis with Dustin Hopkins and i would sign on the dotted line. Mingo is really good don't get me wrong, but would love to see the jets not pickup any offensive playmakers in the 1st.
 
I dont think i would be able to complain about that draft at all. If that were to happen i would be a very happy guy. Our defense would be a little scary if we added those two guys.

Don't forget about Rambo, Porter, and Smith.
Rambo is a flat out monster and could come in and compete with Clemons. Porter most likely wont start but brings good depth to our Line Backers. If Smith never tore his ACL he would of been a second round pick. He could give a solid rotation with our DE's
 
I love what that would do for our defense. Definitely some injury risk with first two selections.

I just read a Tweet from Adam Shefter that there are probably five other teams in the top thirteen who also want to trade down. So even though I think Ireland wants to do this, I think it may be hard to trade picks...up or down.
 
Love the double down on defense early with Carridine and Hayden. Sans injuries it sounds lke the gurus all feel both are top 5 players. The injuries really don't sound like they are that much of a long term worry, so if you can somehow get both the real question is why wouldn't you??? IMHO though NFL front offices probably get this while the draftniks that have been doing mocks don't, and both guys will go far earlier than you see in most published mock drafts.
