No you're right about that for sure. My post above should clarify a little bit more, I mean all sides I was just giving an example, biased for sure.;)

I concur.

Personally, I think that over-agressiveness should be dealt with more.... agressively. I may start giving "time-outs" to those who can't be more civil and mature in their posts.

remember, as Finheaven grows (exponentially it seems as of late) your A**hole to good poster ratio will grow accordingly. So it seems we're right on course!!!!!
 
Good post Mega. I mess around with you a lot, but it's always been in jest.

I think a lot of it has to do with the different types of fans on here. We all want the same goal, the Phins to win, but some handle it different than others. the so called "homers" try to stay optimistic no matter what, while the so called "realists" claim to look at things with a more neutral eye. Unfortunately the difference in opinions are bound to clash at some point.

YES there are a few members here who try to be overly negative just to get a rise out of people, and YES there are some members on here who could find a postive in just about anything to the point where it gets annoying. I guess the goal is to try and debate these opinions in a more mature manner instead of using the old "go be a bills fan!" or "You're a homer if you think this team will win 8 games this season" and so on.

Blah whatever..I'm just rambling now. I'll stop :lol:

Mega, I somewhat agree. 99 pct of my posts are all football related until a Jills or Crop Duster fan annoys me and I fire away. See the Feeley or Ferrote thread. Sometimes its difficult to sit by and watch some snot nosed goober try and run smack and he is a fan from another team.

I am optomistic this year, than again I usually am. There is a difference in my optomism this season, I look back at an 11-5 team from 2000 and really think this one is more talented. The problem is so are the other teams in the AFC EAST. I still think if we get a few breaks and play solid football, its not unreasonable we could win 10 games and I or no other Fin Fan should be attacked or BASHED for that. Especially by a JILLS or Crop Duster fan, if that happens, I feel its my duty as a DIEHARD Finatic to protect the innocent and the American Way.

Also, people from the North East are a little more agressive than the people from the South East. And maybe thats what we need. Instead of saying agressive, why not use assertive? I think Zach Thomas had made positive comment about FinFans from New Jersey and I think I read it on this site.

IM not condoning acting like an a$$, which sometimes I can do. I'll admit that. But being a little more assertive? Nothing wrong with that. I fly out every year for a Fin game at Pro-Player and drive the 15 mins to the Meadowlands to see the Fins play. I have been at some GREAT GAMES. And have always held my own there.

I haven't been to Buffalo, but after watching them on here they might be just as bad or worse than CropDuster fans! I was at the fake spike game and had to be escorted out by security, yes thats true. For what? Because there were thousands of Jets fans behind me breaking my stones the whole game, and after the REF put his hands up, I LET THEM HAVE IT! There were maybe 1,000 fin fans at that game but spread all over the place.

BY THE WAY. BOTH TEAMS WERE 6-5.. The jets lost like 10 games in a row after that and Pete was fired! LOL!

A little off track there.. But the point is. I SEE NOTHING wrong with being a little more assertive as long as you know the sport, which I do. I hope this season all Fin fans at the game are more assertive ( We are labeled soft) by many other fans around the league. I hope we are the true 12th man this year.

Just my opinion.. But I respect yours.
