"the last-place team in the AFC East is actually playing the best football. The Dolphins (3-7) now have won three straight with victories over Buffalo, the Washington Redskins and Kansas City Chiefs. Miami looks like the team fighting for a playoff spot, not the Bills or Jets.

Is it time to rethink Miami's plan in 2012? Is Moore the long-term solution at quarterback? Should coach Tony Sparano and general manager Jeff Ireland keep their jobs for another season? These are all questions for Miami -- the AFC East's bottom team -- that will be resolved in time.

But we can draw one conclusion for the AFC East as a whole. It's a division mired in mediocrity."

That was a good article. The AFC East is pretty weak. Matt Moore being the 2nd best QB is kind of sad from an outside perspective. If the Patriots didn't have Brady, we would have a good chance to win the division at 3-7. :chuckle:

I don't get the streaks within this division. Will it take one random loss say against the Raiders or Dallas to start the Dolphins losing streak again? I agree mediocre records and a lot of mediocre teams in the AFC and NFL. The gap between mediocre and elite is the widest it's ever been IMO.

A whole division goign 3-13 one year would be hilarious

Remember when the Colts were also in the AFC East and at one point it was considered one of, if not THE hardest division in football? Yeah it's been a long time :(

Yea if they were still in the East we'd have 2 more wins for sure.
I think we'll win at least 2 out of 3 remaining division games and with a new coach and 1st round pick QB to learn under Moore be right back in the hunt next year.

AFC East is weak as ****.

Been saying all off season that the Patriots are the most overrated team in the NFL today.

If the Jets were even mediocre they could win this division.

How true. Pats have no defense. Jets have no offense. And the Bill's have lots of injured players compliments of the YB led hitters in our D. Too bad we cann't take a mulligan on our first 7 games.
