Run the ball, no bone head mistakes by QB, and let the defense play, keeps the games close and gives phins a chance, we cannot over come penalties and turnovers at all with this group

WE ALSO NEED ALOT OF LUCK

Wanny is that you? Or is it Jimmy?

Seriously, you're right. But we need some plays from the QB spot. We can't rely on just the running game. You saw where that got us. We have to be balanced.

How bout we run the ball so much that we only have to pass the ball 10-12 times a game like the 72 phins

need to have some success in passing game on early downs...i like how often they are throwing deep...eventually they are going connect on some of them...get early lead and then run the ball and turn the dogs loose...if fins get in must pass situations often we in trouble...just like last few years

We still have to take shots deep, we had Boston and Gilmore open deep last night amd the QB overthrew them.

The formula for winning is simple.

OurScore - TheirScore = PositiveNumber

That is a winning formula.

OurScore - TheirScore = NegativeNumber

That is a losing formula.

we get that and were playoff bound

You have to give deep passing more time than that. The QB first needs to be chosen. If it's Gus it seems we'll go deep more often. If it's not than A.J. will be doing quite a few short slants, but one thing A.J. really needs to work on is not hammering the ball into his RB thats 7 feet from him.

Don't know the formula for winning this year but, I have the recipe for a championship......add a next year to this year and stir, then wait one year before serving. :D

Prayer! lol. Go to church on Saturday nights and again Sunday morning just incase God didn't see ya there on Saturday!

just kidding. If we get anything out of our QB play, we might not totally suck.

Interesting, the fact that he completed so many short passes should indicate his ball isn't that hard... Matter of fact for the last 2 weeks AJ haters have complain that he's completed too many short passes. I think AJ's understanding of the short pass can do wonders for his ability to hit the bombs. Hitting the short passes means he's checking off to his 2nd and 3rd options, that's an improvement.

This was brought up last night. If AJ is checking off so well, then that contradicts the claims of the Feeley bandwagon that he just doesn't have time to go deep. If he does indeed have time to check down to his third option, then he definetly has time to throw it deep. Gus had a very low completion percentage last night and he didn't play well, but at least he has the confidence to try the big stuff. AJ needs to try for the big plays more often. If he can hit more passes like the one last night and stop locking on to his recievers (thus, tossing pick 6's) then he could turn out to be ok. But that 5 yard per attempt (or sometimes COMPLETION) crap will get us nowhere.
