According to someone over there, ESPN Radio in NY is reporting that Pace has been traded to the Giants for Amani Toomer, a 2nd rounder, and a defensive starter not yet known. Take it for what it's worth.

My question is..why do they want Toomer? And why would the Giants want to give up Toomer?

It seems like this trade was just a rumor since nobody else is reporting it.
