Gase has stated about how boring the Dolphins offense is. Getting rid of the running game with Ajayi makes some logic if he is attempting to make the entire offence a passing attack. Cutler though defies Gases logic and just does not make sense. Cutler rarely throws the ball downfield and neither does he use all his recievers. Moore does all of these things though. Thats exciting offense when you open up the game throwing to Carroo, Fasano as well as the other rarely used recievers. If Gase really is playing for next year even if Moore is not his desired QB Gase would be better served playing Moore as Moores game gets the entire team involved in both tempo and personnel that he is projecting to use next year under RT. Gases choice at QB with Cutler contradicts Gases desired offensive scheme.

Gases offense requires a quarterback to be able to do pre snap reads, this is not a strength of Matt and can be easily defended against(like the ravens did)

Also, if you search the game you will see receivers open everywhere. We are simply in a lose lose situation at QB. Both will be gone next year IMHO.

This did not require it's own thread either.

Could this not have been added to the plethora of other Gase threads?

I have read numerous times about this presnap issue with Moore. First its interesting how we won last year with Moore going into the playoffs. Second if this a issue that Gase is uncomfortable with regarding Moore why is Moore still a member of the Dolphins. Third Moore is moving the ball downfield, Cutler is not. Is not the point of the Gase offense to press the ball downfield fot his exciting offence. Cutlers dink and dunk style is on par with running the ball with more downside and risk. I believe Gase has contradicted himself between his actions and words.

"Bad at presnap reads" sounds like some nonsense started by someone without a clue and now half the forum is regurgitating it taking it as gospel. Results trump what some fan thinks the proper presnap read should be based on "tape study." Moore threw for close to 300 yards in a half while "leaving a bunch of plays on the field" behind "probably the worst o-line in the league" with "overrated talent at best" and a "terrible coach" and no running game. It doesn't add up.

Problem for Gase is I bet Ross is hinting (at the very least) that the team may be better and Moore exciting with Moore. Ross is relatively hands off but he has proven he will meddle and demand changes when things are going bad.

Moore has a beautiful deep ball and plays with fire and passion. You can tell the team got energized when he came in and started launching the rock downfield.
