Clemson played well. Should be an interesting final 4 this year.

Not sure how the committee will create the matchups right now, but any combination of games will be interesting.

Have to wonder what would have happened had Mich St. not scored on the last play vs. Michigan earlier this season. I am not so sure that Ohio St. could have beaten Iowa. I had not watched Iowa all year. They play tough. A damn shame they go from one play from being undefeated and in the championship playoff all the way to most likely out of the Rose Bowl.

Pretty clear it will be Clemson 1 and Bama 2, but who knows whether it will be Mich St or OU at 3. Big 12 vs. ACC would be a classic Orange Bowl game. Bama vs. MSU would feature Saban vs. a school he used to coach. I would like to see MSU vs. OU and Bama vs. Clemson, but that is the one set of matchups I do not think the committee could cook up without raising eyebrows.

Congratulations! Now y'all have 2 more games to win. Bring another National Championship trophy home for the ACC! Clemson-FSU is one of the friendlier but best rivalries going right now. There have been NC implications the past several years. Just win the next two games!

Congrats...I pegged Clemson as a potential playoff team at the beginning..

Win the next two and continue the rise of the ACC.

The ACC will be the new SEC very soon.

All this NFL talent yearly will catch on quick. With Watson being another elite prospect its gonna turn heads.

Sounds like a brilliant decision. It's crazy to imagine students needing school supplies as well as their books. The NCAA is a bit loony sometimes.

The NCAA and the colleges are a rather greedy and hypocritical group.

I can almost always feel bad for a player who gets in trouble for taking money, many of which really need the money, especially at smaller schools, to get by. Yes they are provided an education, food, and a place to stay in exchange for playing a sport, but that sport provide millions of dollars based on that player performance. This story is sad, because it wasn't kids taking money from a booster, or using the money of random stuff (which should be fine as well), but in the school book store on school supplies. This was money that was already theirs from those scholarships that they earned. Complete bull****.

Looks like that Jackson kid from Louisville gonna break that total TD record set by Watson this year. Sheesh.

He has 5 more tonight already.

I remember seeing his first start. The first time he pulled down the ball to run, I thought he was the closest thing to Vick I had seen.

And the thing is, if he's not already a better passer than Vick was, he will be soon. He's still go another year under Bobby before he's draft eligible.

I don't know if we're going to beat FSU next week, but whatever happens, it's going to be fun.

I can promise you that Clemson is NOT going to schedule Troy again any time soon.

    Good football game, though.

Oh he is going to give us hell...If Louisville uses an uptempo, they can get ahead pretty quick.

If nothing else the ACC should have some of the most exciting players to watch...

I have to say that I think Dabo Swinney did something very stupid today.

Troy played real physical football and was taking their best shots at Clemson ball-carriers and receivers every chance that they could. So with this in mind, Dabo continues to call designed QB runs over and over again, at times right into the teeth of the defense.

I thought that was downright bizarre.

I feel terribly for Deshaun Watson, who is stuck between a rock and a hard place now.

Option 1, continue to have Dabo Swinney run you into hard contact by going back for your senior year, or

Option 2, get drafted by Cleveland

    Brutal.

Just announced that Marshall's starting QB is out with a concussion today against us. A true freshman will be starting.

Here's a preview of what that kid will be seeing today:

Can anyone tell me why there was not a ten second runoff on LSU on the next to last play of the game? I thought that any offensive penalty with the clock running would result in a ten second runoff?

For as good as LSU has been I **** you not, I think they've had like 3 years of good QB play since Les took over for Saban.

And Cam's playbook has really degressed to just FOurnette off tackle

    Great ending! :brewskis::drink:

But Tennessee can't let Texas A&M and Alabama get the a lead these next 2 weeks and expect to come back and win like we have been doing.

Heh, yeah that's making the rounds on sports talk radio here today. Sure there might be something to that, but I'm of the mind that in that situation, with less than a minute left and the first down marker is already at the 2 yard line, why not just go for the goalline? At best you score the TD with around 35 seconds left, at worst you make the first down. He's one on one with the DB. James could have made that play.
