Poor Geno, He's going to be forced into starting for them WAY too soon and he's going to get crucified for it. He would have been a lot better off going to team where he could sit a year or two and then step in. The Yets have returned again!

Dion Jordan should be licking his chops...lol @Geno talking about the playoffs already. This kid appears to be weak minded and i expect that circus to break him mentally.

GENO SMITH JUST GUARANTEED THEY WOULD BE IN THE PLAYOFFS NEXT YEAR! HE HAS BEEN ON THE TEAM FOR 10 SECONDS! Just like Rex. Makes me laugh.

so if the Dolphins drafted Geno Smith (assuming we never got Tannehill), would you all still be bashing him?

Geno reminds me a bit too much of Vince Young temperament-wise... I don't see that working out in a place as volatile as New York. Trust me, Geno will be out of there in 4-5 years just like Sanchez.

I'm kind of scared about this. Geno has the potential to be a great pro.

Nope. Geno is a product of Tavon Austin & Steadman Bailey. He can't throw in the wind/snow. NFL secondaries are going to eat him alive.

My only solace is that we are not making a huge commitment to him. This was not the year to draft a QB.

lol ny junc is probably crying himself to sleep now cuz this is the beginning of the end for his bf mark sanchez. Even though I wish they didn't get geno cuz i was hoping the jets would continue with mark, but they wised up a little. Geno might be good if he uses the chip on his shoulder and criticism toward him to his advantage and use that as fuel to work harder than anyone else and really work at his craft. We shall see..hopefully he doesn't...
