according to SI, the Dolphins almost flunked if it wasnt for Surtain

Dolphins. Not Jimmy Johnson's finest hour. Knowing his love for the 12-ounce green bottles, could he possibly have been drafting during Happy Hour? John Avery in the first round? Brad Jackson and Larry Shannon in the third? Only Patrick Surtain, an excellent corner taken with the 44th overall pick, saves this from being an F-bomb.

We're in 03 bro

The point of the article was that it takes 5 years to properly grade a draft. And he was pretty harsh on every team, not just us.

So many teams got a "C-" or lower that he oughta start grading by a curve :D

I would add that Brad Jackson is a very under rated linebacker. He has played real well in limited time with the Ravens.

As for Larry Shannon......uuuummm, better than Randy Moss allegedly.

Speaking of Moss, one draft "expert" prior to the '98 draft predicted that Moss would be an NFL bust. Now that may not sound unusual, but with this draftnik it wasn't a character issue. He thought that there was no way that Randy would be able to get off the line in the NFL....So much for experts.

Experts, heh.

Didn't Bo Jackson go in something like the 6th round?

That was after not signing with the Buccaneers the year before

Nice of them to forget about the very solid DE Kenny Mixon who started for us for a couple years and now starts for Minny and Bromell who is a backup in Minny.

The Patriots got an F. The Jets got a D-. And the Bills got a D. So we were among the division's best. :)

Don't blame Johnson, blame Buttercup his evil dog.
