Denver and KC are on the verge of collapse. Jacksonville has pretty much taken the first Wild Card. The Jets are about to lose at home to Buffalo. We play the Bills and the Jets, and can easily beat both of them.

This has been a great week so far, with the exception of the Jags game.. But who cares they beat us anyways and have the tiebreaker on us.. I know it is a long shot, but WE CAN FINISH 9-7 and get the final seed!!

We would need Cincy to lose out and us to win out to have any real shot.

I think there's a better chance of Jacksonville losing out than Cincinnati losing out.

Cincy won though. Too many teams have to go down, if Miami wants the playoffs they're going to have to put a whole season together. They can't keep sucking and then suddenly playing like a contender.

Cincy and Jax are both playing great...sorry but I think it is too little too late.

Yeah we aren't mathematically eliminated just yet. We need so much help though that it is ridiculous.

We need either Cincinnati or Jacksonville to lose out, which means one of them gets in and the other doesn't. If that were to happen, we would need Denver to lose two of their next three and KC just to lose one. Finally, we need NYJ to lose this one today and then to us. The hardest parts of this formula are Cincy or Jax losing out, and Denver losing two more.

Lets just keep winning and see where we end up. Finishing 9-7 would be quite a treat considering we started 1-6.

Eh. we are pretty much out of it. However, a NYJ loss and a DEN Loss will only help us ( of course). All i want is a conceivable playoff scerenio come week 16.

We didn't take care of business in our AFC mathch-ups. Truth seems to be, we can play when there's not pressure, and nothing on the line. But when it means something, we don't show up. But hey, miracles happen.

Jags and Bengals are too hot right now, I think we don't have a chance.

Yeah that's been my exact thought the past few weeks. Nothing would be better than watching Miami on Christmas night with a chance making the post season.

 I've been busy lately. I decided to give my poor digits a rest on those threads. It's hard when there are only 3 of us defending Chambers against the 5 million bashing him. It's Christmas break and I've been out doing things with my buddies. Or as we call it, DOIN WORK! :sidelol:

All we can do is just win our games. As long as we keep winning that is all that matters. I just want revenge on the Jets and Bills. If we can close this season with wins against our rivals I will be content. I dont think we can beat the colts on the road. Manning is just too good at home, but then again look what we did in Chicago.

We don't have a chance. This is all moot. It's too bad, but the point of football is winning games, not necessarily JUST winning championships...so I'm happy if they keep winning.

I don't want to take any credit away from Jones-Drew, but that Colts defense is HORRIBLE! I don't know who I want to blame for that, the Colts or the Jags.

Cinci has been a very streaky team this year, win 3 lose 3.. Hopefully next week will be the start of a lose 3 streak.

I hope so too. I will bet so much that they lose next week to Indy. The Colts have been embarrassed back to back weeks and I expect Manning to go NUTS on that Cincy defense. When was the last time the Colts lost 3 games in a row?

Vince Young is making plays. That team is on the rise and I was dead wrong about Young. He has been nothing short of amazing. A 40 yard QB scramble for a TD in OT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

By the way, Buffalo just scored. 28-13 Bills. That's helping our very slim playoff hopes.

 HAHA! That's hilarious. He still has some holes in his passing mechanics and decision making, but that will come with experiance. The way he has been taking over games and stepping up HUGE in the 4th quarter this year has really impressed me. He has no quit in him and is all fire and heart. He looks like a tremendous player so far.

The Texans will suffer for many years for their idiotic and cheap attitude with the number one pick. Bad enough they passed on Bush, but how could they ignore the former Longhorn who was loved by the fans?

If we would have beaten the Jags, I'd be on the "we can make the playoffs" bandwagon. But sadly we lost and we are still under .500 in the AFC. We have to play Buffalo (in the freezer bowl) and Indy away. What makes it more difficult is that Indy is losing lately. That makes the final game matter for the Colts. Its tough when you don't control your own destiny to really have any playoff hopes. I have none. I would however, like to see Miami finish strong. The game today was simply outstanding. We'll see.

Yeah passing on Bush was dumb enough but then to pass on Leinart and Young was even dumber.

I too hope that he beats Jacksonville because it helps us. :)

I have a bad feeling that Denver may come back to beat SD.. The Broncos are playing very good in the 2nd half. Cutler looks like the real deal today, what a cannon

This is looking like the complete reverse of the game they played a month ago. Denver jumped way out in front then the Chargers scored 28 points on 4 drives. Now the Broncos are within 8 point. Rivers needs to lead the Chargers to point here.

Nah. SD is in the driver seat. Too many weapons on offense for SD. Denver will lose.

I don't see either Jacksonville or Cincinnati losing out.
Also the Jets,KC,Denver and even Pittsburgh are still ahead of us.
I think we can overtake KC,Denver and Pittsburgh, but not Cincinnati and Jacksonville. The Fins had their chance
last week to move ahead of Jacksonville and thew blew it.
Thems the breaks,if they would have taken care of their own business last week, they would have had a good shot to get in.Still it was a great win today.3 more games to go.

Might have something to do with their belief that Carr is a decent QB who just needs protection, with their defense needing the most help, especially in a division with Peyton Manning.
