    That is pretty cool!
Did it get soaked from rain, or maybe on purpose?
Also, looks like there may be big drains near where both FG posts would go.

What are you basing this on? If you mean "as fine as last year" you are correct.

They are putting down new sod today which will last the preseason, but will get destroyed again by a concert a week before the season starts....then they're back to square one.

You apparently weren't following all the problems they had last season...especially on two-game weekends. It was really chewed up with several bare spots. Turf needs time to settle in before it has some durability, you can't just lay it down and expect it to last....

Question, is Ross going to stop hosting non football events such as concerts? Seems like getting the grass to settle would be a tough task with year round events occurring.

Yeah, I'm sure Ross plans to do as many events as possible, but there must be a more resilient grass they can use.
My grass looks a bit trampled after a party, but after a little water and a mow it comes back fine.
HRS grass should be of a much tougher, much better quality, to handle football games and everything else.

The big problem is that the new roofline doesn't allow for enough hours of sunlight...

You totally do. I went last year and had a club section seat. EXCELLENT.

Weren't they using artificial lights to grow the grass last year?

Yeah, but it didn't seem to be enough as several bare spots still had to be regularly replaced....

The simplest solution to the problem is to install field turf. That would eliminate the grass problems.
