How has Fred Russell looked during camp? I am an Iowa season ticket holder and have loved watching Fred. Small and elusive like Barry Sanders (I concede there is only one Barry!) . Perhaps some of you in Florida watched the Outback Bowl and saw what he can do. I hope he gets an honest look at camp. He accelerates like a rocket through the smallest of holes, and he has great vision and cutting ability. 280 carries last season in the Big 10, without injury, shows some durability for a little guy. I know college isn't the NFL, but I hope he does well enough to make the roster and gets some carries. If he does, he will surprise a lot of people, except those of us from Iowa City!
