It's clear we need to upgrade our redzone offense. What moves should we make?
For me, I think a 2 TE set fits this team well, if we're able to make the following upgrades:
- a second jump-ball type receiver to run fades and pair with Marshall
- a TE that can beat man-to-man coverage like David Martin or better but still block
- upgrade McQuistan to get a better push ( maybe Jerry is that guy )
Then throw ricky or Lex back there. Out of this formation, we have a great balance of threats, how can you stop them all? The power run, the play action, the WR clearing out the secondary which should leave the TE open more often than not.
