Or 23 and 25?

Would either the rams or vikes want to go up to get austin at 12 and let us build even more depth?

From 12 = 1,200 pts to 16 = 1,000 points. St Louis gives us 200 points worth of picks. . 16th pick of 3rd round = 190 pts. 16th pick of Rd 7 = 8.2 pts
to 22 = 780 points. St Louis gives us 420 points worth of picks. 22nd pick of 2nd rd = 360 pts, 22 pick of rd 4 = 58 pts
to 23 = 760 points. Minnesota gives us 440 points worth of picks. 23 pick of 2nd rd = 350pts, 23 pick of rd 4 = 56 pts, 23 pick of rd5 = 31 pts
to 25 = 720 points Minnesota gives us 480 points worth of picks. 25th pick of rd 2 = 340 pts, 25 pick of rd 3 = 145 pts. We would have to give them one of our 7ths.

Hope this helps. The quick answer to your question is no for both teams.

Please remember that those draft pick value charts are just meant to be a guide and have no real basis in reality.

I don't think any team in the League looks at those numbers like they are gospel.

I sure hope not anyway.

Isn;t that the old chart anyways?

With the advent of the Rookie Wage Scale I beleive the "trade chart" is much different now isnt it?

Hell yes you take that. 2 1sts, 2 2nds, 2 3rds ..... Starters and depth for years to come.

Ask yourself would you trade those picks to move up to 12. I sure wouldn't

I agree the the trade charts are outdated especially with the rookie wage scale. However, I believe what has changed is more teams may be willing to trade due to cost certainty regarding the contract. The cost of the trade in picks hasn't changed at all. If anything the price will go up if you can get a bidding war going for your pick. Regardless, my point was simply that St Louis or Minnesota would have to be functionally illiterate to agree to trade their two first rounders for our 12th pick

There is no way someone trades 2 first rounders to get to #12... 16 and a 3rd would be something realistic. Or 22 and a second.
