Is the 2012 QB class comparable to 2004?

Are Luck, Barkley and Landry Jones as good of prospects as Eli, Rivers and Big Ben were coming out of college?

luck is obviously the best prospect by far, but rivers and big ben i think are a lot better prospects than jones and barkley

I don't think any of the 2004 guys were as highly regarded as Luck. The only QBs rated as high as Luck were Elway and Manning, and both lived up to the hype. The closest draft would probably be 1983 with Elway, Kelly, Marino, O'Brien(not a HOFer but decent), and a few busts. 1998 only 2 QBs were drafted in the 1st.
