Jonas Gray

I think it speaks volumes they kept him around on PS even though he couldn't practice till October because of his ACL injury. His lack of playing time isn't of skill, but injury. I think in 2 years you will be saying Daniel who? oh the guy we blew a 2nd round pick on.... atleast we got Miller and Gray

I already say Daniel who.. Don't get me wrong Gray deserves a chance over Thomas at this point because we already know how bad Thomas is. I didn't like him his rookie year either . And to make matters worse, it wasn't just a second we spent on the scrub but a second and a fifth

Our RB situation seems up in the air a bit. Miller seems to be the fragile type so I'm uneasy about him as our primary back. Daniel Thomas is OK when he plays, but a power back with concussion problems isn't comforting. I don't think a RB committee really has room for 2 injury potential type guys. If we're going with Miller for cap reasons, then I'd be more comfortable if we had a reliable power back, or at least another decent all-purpose RB through the draft like Gillislee.

Miller seems to be fragile? How do you figure exactly?

If JG can fully recover, big if, he will be very good. Followed him with the Irish, remembered the hit at the bowl game that blew out his knee was very sad. He had an amazing burst. I am pulling for him.

He's had significant knee and shoulder injuries in the last 5 yrs.

Pick up a vet RB, drop DT and draft a guy in 3rd, 4th.

Move on to corner and Oline.

RB is an easy position to fill. You don't need a big name to run the ball up the middle.

Ya sure sure, Adrian Peterson and Daniel Thomas, there all the same right?

Those highlights are very encouraging. Thanks 4 the YouTube clips. He definitely deserves a chance to move up the depth chart. ACL surgeries are like Tommy John surgeries now; players seem to be almost more explosive after than before the surgery. We all saw what happened to Willis McGahee in that bowl game and look at the career he's had since. Frank Gore blew out both knees in college and now he's the closest thing to an 'iron man' as running backs get.

Here are some more complete videos I created a year ago because he was among my favorite UDFAs.

your the man CK

Hopefully he can hold on to the ball better than Thomas.

alfred morris, arian foster, stevan ridley, benjarvus green-ellis, shonn greene, ahmad bradshaw... 6 of the top 15 rushers last year weren't drafted in the 1st round.
