Here we are again people. We are about a week away from the draft. It is the single most important thing in building or rebuilding a franchise, which we are doing. Below is my 7 round mock draft. Please feel free to comment or critisize.

1. Jake Long OT Michigan
2a. Quentin Groves OLB/DE Auburn
2b. Curtis Loftin MLB Oklahoma
3. Tracy Porter CB Indiana
4. Mike McGlynn OG Pitt
6a. Kellen Davis TE Michigan State
6b. Marcus Monk WR Arkansas
7a. Caleb Campbell SS Army
7b. Corey Boyd RB South Carolina

i would prolly run a mile naked if that was our draft

qb-beck
rb-ronnie brown, ricky williams
ol- jl, rook or mormino, satele, smiley, carey -me lika
wr-ted ginn, ernest wilford, lorenzo booker, monk, hagan
te-davis and peele
fb-convict or boomer

dl- holiday, fergy, stark
lb- porter, loftin, crowder, groves (jt traded assumption)
db- will and jason allen, porter? daniels? bell? (sucks but better then last season with lots of depth)

that is the look of a team going in the right direction
next year dbs and we may be close to competing

That is a beautiful draft, but just like Jessica Biel, it would never happen to me.

That would work. I saw Curtis Lofton play when Oklahoma played my CU Buffaloes. Lofton is only about 6 foot tall, but he just hammers people and he pursues people all over the field.

That would be a great draft but Tracy Porter will be gone before the third. If he is there in third, what a steal.

well done. damn near perfect. i'd gizz if that happened.

or we could go in a slightly different direction:

1-J.Long OT
2-A.Cason CB
2-S.Crable OLB
3-J.Nelson WR
4-B.Bell ILB
6a-K.Davis-TE
6b-C.Rinehart-OG
C.Cambell-S
C.Boyd-RB

Now I know this is HIGHLY UNLIKELY, but just for the heck of it...I'm all for trading out of our first pick (for another 1, 3, 4), trading our first pick in the 3rd round (for a 3 and a 5) and for trading JT (for a 2 and a 4). If we could come up with 4-5 extra picks on top our draft. OK...Lets have it!!!!!:

1 R. Clady/J.Otah/C.Williams-OT
2a A.Cason-CB
2b C.Lofton-ILB
2c S.Crable-OLB
3a J.Nelson-WR
3b A.Rubin -DT
4a J.Johnson/K. O'Connell/E.Ainge-QB
4b J.Finley/K.Davis/J.Tamme-TE
5 K.Brown-OG
6a B.Richardson-OT
6b J. Ikegwuono-CB
7a C.Cambell-SS
7b C.Boyd-RB

1. I dont think we could afford to use both our 2nd rounders on LB's
2. Tracy Porter most likely wont be there at #64.
3. Kellen Davis will absolutely not be on the board with our 6a pick (which is now near the end of that round since we flopped with Dallas).
