Well, the play calling and having Cutler is embarrassing.
I agree with Jarvis 100% and **** i remember going to one of the metlife takeovers a couple years back and hearing this one "dolfan" continously shouting "we want Moore!" I almost ralphed all over metlife.
These are the same fans that would boo Marino in the 1st QTR and lose their minds in excitement and chant his name in the 4th QTR.
He's right, and there's a lot of offensive players who should be motivated to drop the respect card this weekend. This game against Atlanta should be hard fought to say the least.
Cutler on the field is more embarrassing for us, just saying
Landry is right....but what's also embarrasing is the record and play of the Dolphins.
Just watched the Landry video. Good for him to put that out there like he did, inept fans who don't know what they are b_tching about. Get behind our team as things are tough enough in this league. Landry reps this team very well, fully respect his view. out.
So, you know what Jarvis, how about all of you on offense dropping your shïtty body language and poor execution, to show those fans that they are wrong to be dissatisfied with Cutler. And, if after that, it turns out that Cutler is playing really well, those fans will be delighted to be wrong. If, as many of us suspect, he'll still be poor after you and your colleagues have upped your game to acceptable levels, then don't worry, we won't wait for an apology from you.
Yep. Jarvis says one thing with words but his body language says the exact opposite. Body language always tells the truth.
I agree with Landry.
Eh, body language is harder to determine than words. Twan russell spoke on this matter at the training facility this weekend. He told a story about a play involving Terrell Buckley and Brock marion. Buckley made an error and made a gesture at marion which looked like he was yelling at him, when in fact he was signaling it was his own play at fault. Twan said the fans and media more often that not misinterpret what is seen on the field.
The fans aren't the problem.
Jarvis should be embarrassed about the putrid offense he's a part of. Start looking like an NFL offense and people wouldn't be screaming for Matt Moore.
When the offense is struggling all fans, except for maybe the Patriots and the Packers, call for a QB change. I get that Landry is sticking up for his QB, but calling out the fans isn't going to change the fact that the offense put up 15 points in 12 quarters.
Sick of these million dollar crybabies who whine about what the fans are doing. Start earning your damn money THAT THE FANS ARE PAYING YOU, and start looking like a professional NFL offense. Until then you need to keep quiet.
Maybe Jarvis wants to be booed off the field when he plays at home next time. Stop complaining about the fans. If it weren't for fans you wouldn't have your million dollar job.
The embarrassing part isn't the booing. No one boos an offense that is executing and scoring points. The embarrassing part isn't who isn't getting booed, it's WHY they are getting booed.
Its fair for him to say that, just like its fair for the fans to call for their trusty backup in the game when the QB cant move the offense and is running from a pass rush before it even manifests.
I wanted Moore, wouldve joined the chants, but im trying to trust that Gase knows what hes doing and not just blindly sticking with his man. Well see.
The O is embaressing.
This isn't the first season the fans have chanted we want Moore .
Am I supposed to feel sorry for someone who made over half a million dollars for that pathetic performance?
The entire offense is the embarrassment, not us. Personally, I paid alot of money to go watch that embarrassment and I proudly booed Curlers a** every chance I got. He's garbage and I hope my fellow fin fans continue to boo his *** until we get a better product on the field. Those "embarrassing fans" are paying for Landrys contract
it happens everywhere. if the starter plays poorly you will hear it
92 passing yards vs a defense that allowed a rookie to rout them by 50+ points the week prior. Now that is embarrassing....
Landry is the last person I want to hear from on any matter deemed disrespectful after his mishap. Sure he can score a TD and not celebrate like a clown and instead hand the ball to a kid in stands but at the core, he should be more glad the overall fanbase isn't booing him and wanting him gone.
Landry and his brethren should learn to catch more passes then perhaps Cutler wouldn't be booed so much.
I get it but the grass isn't always greener, we already know with Moore, his lawn is no greener than Cutlers.
I honestly disagree. he posted a great passer rating in this same offense just last year. My biggest problem with Cutler isn't a problem for Moore. Moore is going to stand in and take a hit to complete a pass. hes tough. Moore is also going to give you 100%. Cutler doesn't and that's his main problem
Still not as "disrespectful" as putting your hands on a woman
True, but to Landry's point, do people even understand everything being thrown at this offense after spending the entire 2016 and offseason preparing for another signal caller.
4 games and we are 2-2 and with everything this team has gone throuh to start the season, And after the start we had last year, I think Adam Gase has EARNED a little trust in his decision making and for what is best for this team.
Certainly 4 games is no definitive on what should be done.
IMO he's dead on.
If you understand football, then you realize how bad MM really is.
And anyone chanting for MM during our first home game should STFU.
But, I get it, our offense has been AWFUL. So chant away.
Landry is 100% on point. You would think a team that fought back from 1-4 last year to playoffs would earn some patience from fans after another slow start. Except 2-2 is better than 1-4 and it’s while using a new QB who joined the team in the middle of preseason. I get why Dolphin fans are fickle and short attention spanned, 15 years of piss poor play will do that to any fan base, but stop the whining and let the team try to adapt and fight out of it. The fact that there’s already a thread here asking if Gase will survive the season really says it all about the current fragile state of this fan base.
You'll never sell Moore on me with stats. Until the offense can get up to speed on catches , play calling, routes, blocking, making grant taller when parker is out, I'll never put it all on Cutler. He is part of the problem but the unit is as a whole is terrible. Moore can't fix any of that other than being an interceptable gun slinger.
Maybe the players should take a page from Landry’s book. Aren’t the players being disrespectful in spite of the fans feelings about certain issues. We pay our money to watch a chit show like Cutler and we aren’t allowed to voice our opinions? It works both ways, young man!!!
Both these qbs are trash so it doesn't much matter either way. Yeah guys could execute their jobs better elsewhere but at the end of the day the qb position is what's gonna end miamis season status quo.
Cutler matt Moore it doesn't matter.
Landry needs to start producing. 200 yards through 4 games against some poor defenses and he wants to be paid like one of the best. Please.
He should ask Gase “Guru” for more bubble screens.
Cutler playing like Ray Lucas is disrespectful.
Watching Landry juke for 2 yards or a loss is disrespectful.
Playing boring football is disrespectful.
Being a boring football team every damn year is disrespectful.
Having a coach who is going to save face at all costs and keep playing Cutler when he's been playing like hot garbage is disrespectful.
Landry juking for 2 yards or a loss is disrespectful. Yes, I typed that twice. That's how disrespectful it is.
The collective talent of the players makes you care enough to spend money. Get off your high horse. Last time I checked, the NFL isn't a charity. You pay because it's worthy of your entertainment dollars.
