i for one think injurys in football is a sad thing. however, in this case i do not find myself 'sad'

Phillips was injured and could miss up to three months. he broke his hand.

i think it comes down to this, the stamps coach is entering his first season with the stamps replacing a walking legand, so he must be trying to get these nfl rejects as a short term way to get some Ws.
