Jets are a lot less scary without Rex...because with Rex there was always 3 or so games where he would coach like a ****ing god and get a win. it was the other 13 or so games where you wondered if he knew what he was doing.

It sounds like you are trying to set this up as a win / win for yourself. If the Dolphins win it's because the Jets can't beat anybody. If the Dolphins lose, they are an embarrassment.

While there is some truth to what you are saying, you should know that division games are never easy. The Jets played a close game in Miami, and now we don't have our starting QB. I know you can say the same about your team, but Tannehill is a lot more important to the Dolphins than Fitzpatrick was for the Jets.

The Jets have a great D-line that could wreak havoc against our injured O-line. If we can't get Ajayi going, it could be a long day for Moore. We also have had trouble stopping the run, and Powell exploded against the 49ers. With that said, we should win this game, but this will not be an easy win by any means.

If Denver had a real QB and running game they'd be legit. Their defense gives them a chance at any game.

I'm waiting for the Behind Enemy Lines thread this week, because I'm going to post it if VBCG doesn't.

    I found some gems.

They drafted Hackenberg in the second round. :sidelol:

They literally drafted Hackenberg in the second round. Fitzpatrick. Gen0. Petty. Hackenberg. :sidelol:

Hackenberg, a guy that is so bad they wouldn't even give him garbage time looks in the pre-season because it would have embarrassed him, in the second round. :sidelol:

That was incredible to me. I'm not sure how anyone that watched 3 Penn State games could have given him a grade higher than 7th round flyer. I'm not an expert evaluator, but some QBs just flat out can't play and it's obvious to me and confuses me when a team thinks otherwise. Logan Thomas is another guy I felt that way about.

I posted this in another thread but something that occurred to me after the post-game celebratory high-fives is that Todd Bowles is actually a really ****ing bad coach and we should consider ourselves lucky that he is rumored to be safe this off-season.

I mean, if you had asked me going into this game what our best case scenario for winning a game with Matt Moore at QB was, and I'd have told you it was if the Jets repeatedly decided that they didn't need even a single deep safety against our passing offense. Well, Todd Bowles, despite having been the interim head coach of the Dolphins with Matt Moore as his starting quarterback a few years back, elected to do exactly that.

Kind of unreal. Thank you, Todd. What a wonderful, wonderful game that was for us.

I really think losing Decker tanked the offense for the Jets. No one really expected Fitz to have a great year after what he did last year. But losing Decker was a huge problem. Matt Forte is having a decent year. The biggest find for them this year is Bilal Powell. I know he's played in the past but he's showing lately he could be viewed as a #1 guy.

Revis has to go. Guy fell off a cliff this year and doesn't even have a pick.

that hurt but that's no reason to tank the way we have. Powell should have had a bigger role from day 1, that was the bigger problem. he was a key late in last year and he was hurt week 17, I thought him and Forte would share the load but they forgot about Bilal.

The Jets blow. The coaching staff blows, the morons in the front office who literally drafted Hack in the 2nd round blow, the team blows, its fans blow, the guy named WOODY JOHNSON who owns the team, that guy definitely blows. You know it.

It allows for opponents to work more aggressively against Marshall. These stats are mind-boggling:

    2015: 109 catches, 1,502 yards, 14 TDs.
    2016: 57 catches, 760 yards, 3 TDs. 2 games to play.

The Jets as a whole have thrown 14 TDs and 22 INTs. That's one of the other issues. No real QB.

the poor QB play and constant change at QB sure hasn't helped either. nothing went right this year, it's one of those years. Decker is very underrated but I can't buy that everything fell apart b/c of him going down. we were struggling 2 of the 3 weeks w/ him.

One of those years. Maybe they'll rebound next year. We all know how that happens to several teams a year.

Lots of question marks with the team. Who will be QB? Will Powell start? Does Decker return?

Porsche is an official sponsor of the Jets this year. And the Porsche he pictured during the bet was on display outside the Jets facility. So, I think you are right. It would be pretty funny though if that Porsche on display disappeared at the end of the season.
