Congrats on making the playoffs. I was wrong about the 2016 Dolphins. Good team.

Gase is off to a great start in his Dolphins tenure. He might be the real deal. Time will tell. We'll see if the Dolphins can go on a run in the playoffs and do some damage. Raiders are very beatable now. Pitt and KC aren't great teams. Door could be open to make a run.

Brandon Marshall to Showtime on season. Like "having a diaper on and never changing it. And just sitting in that diaper the whole year."

To take a less mean spirited approach towards the Jets, I think they're going to have to get rid of some good players for locker room reasons

I agree....some of the BS being spewed in the press from a few of their players should warrant a pink slip.

Who did the Steelers play? I didn't see a football game being played. I saw a scrimmage. Similar to Baltimore in 2008. You're still just another loser like everyone else who is home right now.

But to be fair, you guys had a great first season under Gase. The biggest thing though is building on it going forward. Jets are a long ways off from being contenders right now. We'll see what they do this off season. Biggest thing for the Dolphins was that losing Tannehill hurt. Not because Moore played bad, he didn't. But he missed out on valuable big games down the stretch of the season and some playoff experience. He had to watch from the sidelines. He could have benefited from being out there on Sunday. Regardless of the outcome.

It was really only Sheldon Richardson. He needs to go. But its because the Jets have 2 other guys like him and they just gave one a massive contract (Wilkerson) and the other one (Williams) is probably the best of the 3. Sheldon was asked to play out of position and while performing well, he'd be far better if he could line up in his natural spot on the field more consistently.

They'll probably move on from Marshall, Revis, Mangold, and a bunch of other vets. Although I'd personally keep Marshall and Revis, I think their days are numbered for financial reasons. They're porbably going to have a lot of cap room to play with and we'll see a very different team on the field next year. The Jets have to be smart though and sign/trade for young players. Not guys on their 4th or 5th contracts like they did when Maac took over. Those guys age very quickly. The Jets should emulate what the Giants did last off season.

Look whose recovered from getting hit over the head time and time again from Ben, Bell, and Brown.

When the Dolphins made the playoffs I returned to congratulate you guys. When the Jets season is over I begin to lose interest in message boards until the off season starts to reach draft time.

I don't consider Miami a loser based on 2016. I am proud of their accomplishments even with their flawed roster.

You are right though in that they must build on having next year be as good if not better to show consistency. Doing what the Jets did in going from 10-6 to 5-11 would be a disaster.

Imagine having such an incompetent racist prick as an owner that he'll bypass a proven QB for the likes of McCown, Petty, and HACKenberg.

The Jets are basically starting a square-one rebuild without even a decent QB on their roster and a head coach whose performance thus far qualifies him, at best, as a question mark.

If the Dolphins don't beat these guys twice this season, that's a major fail. Not that I want the Jets to lose too many games. I hope they finish between 6 and 8 wins for several seasons in a row.

I was incredibly stunned at the hackenberg by the jets....even at their enept drafting, he should never have been draft...let alone in the second round. He was a great high school prospect who sucked in college

Read today he sucks at throwing a football. He's hit 2 reporters so far in OTAs. He under/overthrows almost every WR he targets.

    He stinks.

Of all the players the Jets released this off season, the only productive player from last year was David Harris. I personally am hoping that Hackenberg wins the starting job, this is a rebuilding season and we have to know if he can play.

Jets could surprise people this season and not be terrible. But I would definitely, definitely be surprised.

Quite frankly, that team looks utterly dreadful. Last season I felt like it would be the 49ers or the Browns competing for dead last in the NFL, and this season I think it's gonna be the Jets running away with it.

How many games are you going to get out of Josh McCown? 4? And the drop-off from McCown (a marginal starter on a good day) to Petty or Hack is like falling off the end of the world. You top that off with a very limited set of offensive weapons, questions on the OL, and a defense that is going to be heavily reliant on a couple of rookies to save the secondary from being the worst in the league, and yeah... they've got problems.

Oh, and Todd Bowles is a bad coach.

Todd Bowles had the perfect storm to have a very good first year, but I'm shocked at the lack of control he has over the locker room

The Jets straight up quitting in the second half of multiple games in 2016. Sheldon Richardson's "**** this game, where the hoes at?" rant. Darrelle Revis showing up 20 pounds overweight and out of shape and Bowles just trotting him out there as a starter even as he was getting roasted and toasted nonstop, with no accountability at all. Bowles' bizarre, Philbinesque postgame press conferences in which he basically just admitted that he had no answers and didn't even seem to care.

I would say that he's lost control of everything. Bad situation. I'll be surprised if he's not fired mid-season.

If people consider the Dolphins schedule to be brutal this year, how the hell can the Jets surprise anyone by not being terrible?
