Browns can have him.. give moore some weapons
so lets stay mediocre with a backup QB, cool
I've seen Mel Kiper JR swear through his teeth about how Jimmy Clawson will DEFINITELY be an elite quarterback in the NFL... he said teams were crazy to pass on him after like the 5'th pick and beyond rofl.
of course I think Clawson's success could have had a lot to do with Floyd being his #1 receiver...
I think mcshay is as credible as kiper jr but as we've seen he could easily be wrong, tannehill could end up being worse than moore/garrard easily i think.
McShay is correct in that Tannehill has the potential to be great if and that's a big IF you develop him properly and are willing to be patient.
I think Philbin and Sherman would be willing to develop him properly but I'm not sure if the fans will be patient enough for him to sit atleast a year while he gets acclimated to the NFL.
It's pretty much a lock he's Cleveland bound.
By the way it must suck being a Redskins fan. lolol They traded their future and if Tannehill turns out better.. wow.
yup and if we get tannehill we are contenders
Like Brian Billick said "Draft on Potential, that Potential will get me fired". Its absolutely crazy to draft Tannehill TOP 10 for a 'hope and prayer' that he will develop into a franchise QB. He has all the same problems Henne did, and yet you and others are clamoring to draft him in the TOP 10.
No he doesn't. Chad Henne and Ryan Tannehill are totally different quarterbacks. Tannehill has GREAT footwork, and Henne is a statue. Henne has no touch, tannehill is almost all touch. Don't compare two quarterbacks that play nothing alike. Henne never came close to putting up the accuracy numbers than tannehill did in college. T-Hill will be nasty while Henne hasn't gotten better since his freshman year of college
