MERGED-Arrington released/Petitgout too

Too injury prone. I would not invest much in him; Giants signed him to a huge deal and already he is cut. Definitely an upgrade over Spragan, but his health is a huge question mark. Also, you have to evaluate his injury, he literally smashed his ankle.
 
Thats one mistake we didnt make last year.He was looking for a big paycheck and IMO he would have been sitting on the bench or on IR most of the year had we signed him.

We need young up and comers not injury prone veterans who have seen their better years.

I saw this injury coming. I was all for Julius Peterson, I know he keeps himself in good shape and sure he had knee injuries before but his injury is not an ongoing repetitive injury like the one Arrington has.

Arrington has had issues with his tendons for a while, similar to David Boston.
 
Injury prone. I dounbt he'l ever return to his former form. What a shame though, he was one of my fav. LBs.
 
Arrington had a major achillies injury. It might be awhile, if ever, before he regains his form.
 
I would give Luke a look, he could be an interesting option. As for Arrington Ill pass, this year showed alot to me. Giants have no faith in him. Lets start with fresh talent just as we did with Crowder.

Yes, a very interesting option, a cheaper option at that. Then we could try to sign Dielman as well.
 
OMG. My, my, my, isnt it amazing how things change. A year ago we were screaming for Arrington in an Dolphin's jersey(me included). Now he is being released by the Giants? This game never ceases to amaze me. God I love it. Having said that, I bet he would be a cheap possiblity at our LOLB. He wanted to play here so I say give him the vet minimum and see if he can stay healthy. At worst we can get some good LB depth.
