Word of Browns head coach Mike Pettine's remarks involving the Jets defensive playbook and his story on Tom Brady bragging about having it has gotten back to Rex Ryan, and the current Jets head coach is fuming.

Pettine, who was the Jets defensive coordinator from 2009-2012 hinted in an interview with MMQB's Greg Bedard that New England may have obtained the Jets' defensive playbook at one time.

When talking about his defensive playbook with the Browns, Pettine said: “I don’t put a lot of graduate-level information in it,” Pettine says. “We know in places like New England, it’s only a matter of time that they somehow mysteriously end up with our playbook.”

Ryan was not having any of that upon hearing the news.

"No. 1, I think it's disrespectful to New England to sit back and say that they did this," an irritated Ryan said."'Cause I can tell you, every single game that we've ever had with New England has been decided on the field. Nobody's had a competitive advantage. And that's a fact. So all that type of stuff, is ridiculous."

Even if Brady did have a game plan from the past, they're always changing anyways according to Ryan.

Wait a minute...is Rex Ryan really saying that Mike Pettine needs to be quiet?

I'm guessing that Rex Ryan isn't aware of the things that Rex Ryan says to the media.

It's only okay when Rex runs his fat trap...

Rex is a loud mouth but he is correct people want to discredit the Pats success but they have the best coach in the NFL
